16 A GUIDE TO 10 STEP BIBLE: FROM FINDING JOBS TO GETTING PAID 1. LOG IN TO LITEEVENTS.WATUAPP.COM Please ensure that all of your profile details are up to date, and you have entered your payment details. We will also need your Unique Tax Reference number. If you do not have one, please contact Inland Revenue. LOGIN NOW 2. CHECK THE JOB MARKET Here you can find all upcoming jobs. Simply find a job that suits your availability, then select the role and shift times you would like to work and we ll get back to. Make sure you read the job description before applying. For some events we may contact you directly, inviting you to a role we think would suit you. 3. CONFIRMING JOBS Once you have advertised your interest, we will either book you onto the event, or place you on reserve. We will add you to a Whatsapp group and send you all the relevant information. You will need to confirm that you have read the event briefs thoroughly. WATU GUIDE

17 4. VENUE DETAILS / EVENT BRIEF Your role, shift times, and venue details will come directly from watu. Any booked jobs will now show in your calendar, and event briefing agreements will be sent out via whatsapp and . Please read these carefully as they will contain important information. 5. CRUNCH TIME We are now putting our trust in you to show up to work on time and in appropriate fashion. Once you have confirmed a booking, we expect you to work. Due to security reasons, we are now asking you to bring valid photo ID ( passport/driving licence ) to all events. 6. IN TIMES OF NEED We know at times life can take unexpected turns, and you may find yourself unable to make a shift. Only in exceptional circumstances, you can contact us via phone to discuss a booking. During office hours 9am-5pm call Outside office hours Please refer to your event brief for specific cancellation policies. For some events where accreditation is required, you may not be able to cancel at all. CALL NOW WATU GUIDE

18 7. TIMESHEETS Shortly after your event we will begin signing-off your times on watu. Under Pay, you will find all pending and processed payments. Please refer to the processed payments as your final wage for this event, as these have been finalised against your timesheets. 8. PAYMENT CYCLES Payment cycles run from the 6th to the 5th of each month. You will be paid on the 15th the following month. Example 5th Dec - 6th Jan will be paid 15th Feb. You simply need to follow our invoice instructions below and send your invoice to payments@cgeliteevents.com 9. INVOICING PAYMENTS Only invoices directly matching processed payments on watu will be excepted. At the end of each payment cycle we ask that you visit the your Pay section, and transfer across to your invoice all events, stating the job title, date and total pay for each shift by 14th of each month. 10. 24 PAYMENT CYCLES. You must use our invoice templates for payments. Please invoice us for any shifts that fall into the time periods stated below. 26 INVOICE GUIDE. All of the fields on our template are mandatory, and failure to complete your invoice correctly may result in a late payment. You may also be fined, so if you are unsure, please follow these instructions carefully. 28 5. PAY AND BREAK. Unless otherwise stated, for every 6 hours you work, you will have a 30min UNPAID break. If you work for over 6 hours, you must declare this in the break field. You can now use your (hours - breaks)xrate=total HOURS PAY/hr BREAKS TOTAL TOTAL THE TOTALS. TOTAL PAYMENT DETAILS ACCOUNT NAME Arguably the best part of any invoice. The total. Take this opportunity to check over your invoice as a whole, and ensure everything is in order. If you are using our google sheets template this calculation is automatic. SORT CODE O. 7. PAYMENT AND RELAX. The last thing you want to do is get this far, and forget to tell us where to send the payment. Please take the time to check this section, and make sure you have entered all of your details correctly. 29 TEAMLEADER S GUIDE TO LEADING. 10 STEP BIBLE: FROM FINDING STAFF TO RESOLVING SITUATIONS 1. CHECK ALL STAFF ON WHATSAPP GROUPS A whatsapp group will be created for each event, including every other member of staff working with you. All important updates and communication between staff must take place on this group. Please familiarise yourself with who you will be signing in, and introduce yourself to the group, providing your name and number. 2. ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT You are responsible for signing in all staff, and ensuring those who are late are encounted for as soon as possible. If you are missing any member of staff, it is your responsibility to contact them. (Take their telephone number from whatsapp). You must report back to us anyone that has not arrived. 3. CHECK ALL HAIR. UNIFROM. MAKEUP. You have been chosen as a team leader as you have experience working for us, and we are putting our trust in you to check all uniform, hair & makeup. Please ensure that staff are upholding our professional standard, and have followed the event brief. TEAMLEADER S GUIDE

30 4. RELAY ANY ISSUES BACK TO STAFFING MANAGERS. You must keep your manager imformed of any late arriving staff, issues with uniform or any other situation that is out of your control. Communication should be done through the team leader whatsapp group, or in case of emergencies please call or CALL NOW 5. KEEP YOUR TEAM PROFESSIONAL. As soon as your team is onsite you are representing CG ELITE EVENTS. It is your responsibility to ensure no one acts against the high professional standard of this agency. Do not block entrances or main walkways, and keep volumn down to a minimum. 6. CHECK RESPONSIBILITIES. When you sign staff in, please check with everyone that they have read the brief and know exactly what is required of them during their shift. Please keep note of anyone in the group that either hasn t read the brief or appears to not carry the correct attitude to work professionally. TEAMLEADER S GUIDE

31 7. BUILD TEAM MORALE Please get the team motivated and ready to start work. We are relying on to to ensure that all staff are representing the agency in the best possible fashion. A little team boost goes a long way, and lets staff know who they can turn to if they have any questions on shift. 8. LEAVE A MAN BEHIND Under no circumstances are you to allow the whole team to be late, due one late arriving member of staff. Once you have signed in everyone that arrived on time, checked their uniform and are happy to begin work, please ensure everyone starts work on time. 9. KEEP NOTE OF ANY FEEDBACK If you hear any feedback from the client, good or bad, please keep note of this and pass this back to your manager at the end of your shift.
