2 Unit 2 General Geometry Point Characteristics: Line Characteristics: Plane Characteristics: RELATED POSTULATES: Through any two points there exists exactly one line. A line contains at least two points. If two lines intersect, then their intersection is exactly one point. Through any three non-collinear points, there exists exactly one plane. 13 Unit 4 Lines Perpendicular Lines RELATED POSTULATES AND THEOREMS Perpendicular Postulate Slopes Of Perpendicular Lines Other Theorems If two lines intersect to form a linear pair of congruent angles, then the lines are perpendicular. If two lines are perpendicular, then they intersect to form four right angles. If two sides of two adjacent acute angles are perpendicular, then the angles are complementary. Page 13
