3 Primer Manual typography Primer manual is the final project for the subject typography at FIDI (Florence Institute of Design International). The main idea was creating a magazine for an existing document, creating a layout and understanding the different terms of typography. Each category has its own example, taking in practice the related concept and making it visual.

4 Expresive words typography Typography exercise whose aim is understanding the word as if it had a feeling and making it visual, keeping it simple.

5 Sketching the city LAYOUT A 16 pages diary that describes the first month living as a foreigner in the city of Florence, Italy. The purpose was understanding the main areas in layout and making a book that represents myself. Sketches was the selected topic since it was and still is, one of the areas that I most spend time in.

6 Set me free poster Set me free was an exhibition about human rights organized by an student as final project where different participants created one of the issues in their countries. In my case, public or private health insurance was a topic that was taking place in Spain. In the process there is a combination between handmade watercolours and digitalization.

7 Mipiace packaging Investigation project for a Studio subject in which the objective was understanding the basics of packaging design, materials, what kind of public it was oriented to, logotype and label. Some hand made drawings combined with the typography Bodoni, a pale background and just using the colour black was the final solution for a pasta product that pretends to be traditional but elegant, and taking in account recyclable materials that respect nature.

8 Travel guide book cover Three covers of travel guides for young people, using the map of each city as inspiration, the colors that represent the atmosphere trought watercolours combined with digital elements.

9 Ironic Phrase typography poster Excersise for practising trpography as an visual element that can be adapted as an image. First example playing with colours, second with shapes and third creating a new personal typography.

13 Advertisement digital illustration Excersise for practising digital illustration combined with an image of the object, beer San Miguel, generating an interaction in between the elements. Also practising the brush tool and creating your own brushes in Illustrator.

14 Spread Fashion magazine Creation of two spreads for a magazine fashion feature combining photographic elements with illustrative ones. The theme of the feature is the year s fall/winter fashion trends. One spread must include the feature s title, and both must include mockup photo captions.

15 Landscape Digital illustration Create a view of a city or natural landscape, either realistic or imaginary, using the gradient and gradient mesh tools..

17 Landscape Digital illustration Create vector illustrations of animals using simple geometric shapes, using mainly the shape tool and pathfinder window. Adding textures and patterns if considered. Drawing three different animals using the same style, or alternatively, draw the same animal using three very different stylistic approaches.
