1 UNIQUE KIOSK SITE INSPECTION FORM The Store Display and Merchandising Departments use this information to develop a custom layout, product plan and marketing graphics specific to the configuration of your store. All Operators of unique kiosks must complete a site inspection, which consists of the following: 1 Draw a floor plan of the space provided. 2 Photograph the space provided. 3 Measure and provide all dimensions and data requested on this form. Please take your time, be comprehensive and accurate. Time Sensitive! We require two weeks lead time prior to shipping the product and fixtures from the day we receive all required documentation. It is CRITICAL that you begin the site inspection process as soon as possible. Delays in receiving your completed site inspection complete with photo s can result in delayed store openings. 2 How to Draw a Floor Plan Creating Your Floor Plan & Check List Use ¼ graph paper choose a graph paper with the darkest possible lines Drawing Scale: Make your drawing to scale. ¼ = 1 (one box on paper equals one square foot in the store) Never round up! Give exact measurements in feet and inches. DO NOT USE METRIC. Do a rough draft first. Double check all of your dimensions and then make a final drawing. Use PEN for your FINAL drawing - no pencil please. Label all columns, planters and the area in feet and inches on the floor plan If you have preferences or ideas about what area each concept should be placed in a multi concept kiosk, please indicate this on the floor plan or in your notes. If you use any symbols on the drawing, include a legend to explain Make your drawing neat, clear and comprehensive. Review the Floor Plan Example on the next page. Number multiple pages in the top right corner when faxing so that they can be easily matched up. Number them in the following order Right to Left, Top to Bottom. Floor Plan check list, have you included? All walls of adjacent storefronts (if any) The perimeter of the sales area as it relates to the adjacent walls, storefronts and other obstacles Columns, Planters and Trees o We require not only the dimension of these but ALSO the placement of them in feet and inches relative to the nearest 2 walls and any other column or built in item. 4 Your Store/Area Photograph Check List Important information for photographing the Store/Area Thoroughly photograph the area where the kiosk is to be built. Photograph it from as many angles as possible and from the upper level if available. Store Photographs, have you included? Pictures of overall space Shots of walls, floors and ceiling surfaces All adjacent stores and kiosks All columns, trees and planters Photo Identification Digital Images Please be sure to complete the following: Change the name format to Store Number, Mall Name, Image Number Key the photo s of your store into your floor plan Digital image numbers match corresponding location on the floor plan Separate picture for each window Compress or Zip your store photos Send Digital Images through yousendit FTP site. How to send your Store photos through the FTP Site. DO NOT send any images with the camera default filenames. Digital images must be saved in JPEG format and use the naming structure described below; Store Number, Mall Name, Image Number Sample Digital Image File Name 831FictionMall01.jpg 831FictionMall02.jpg 831FictionMall03.jpg To Upload Folders, store photos folder must be sent to a Compressed/Zipped Folder first. How To Compress or Zip your photo s for uploading to Calendar Clubs FTP Right click on the folder containing your store photos. Select the send to option from the menu. 5 To Use the FTP site: Simply type in the site name and type the Store Number and Mall Name in the subject line. Click the browse button and locate your named folder and click it, if the file is not compressed/zipped you will have to load each photo individually up to 5 photos per . If you have more than one zipped folder simply click the Add another file link. When finished click the SEND IT button FAX the form and drawing. FAX the Site Inspection form and the drawing to: ATT: Store Display Write the Store number and the Mall name on the fax cover sheet.
