Number of rounds and schedule will depend on number of participants. The schedule and time can be changed accordingly. 2. The events will be held at Chess Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Cut Off dates for age groups is 1 st January 2018 i.e. born on or after Under Jan 2011 Under 9 01 Jan 2009 Under Jan 2007 Under Jan 2005 Under Jan 2003 Under Jan 2001 Under Jan 1999 Under Jan Age Proof : Each participant must produce a valid certificate to prove his/her age. Certificate from Schools are not valid. Certificate should be from Panchayat, Municipality or Corporation. Players without date of birth certificates will not be allowed to participate. The date of birth certificates registered within one year of the birth of the child alone will be recognized and allowed to participate. 5. Players who hold foreign passports and players working with affiliated unit of AICF are not eligible to participate in Delhi State selection events. 6. The events will be conducted as per latest FIDE Laws under Swiss System. 7. In case of tie, latest FIDE Rules will be applied to break the tie. 8. Eligibility for Amateur Event : The participants shall not have a FIDE title or published FIDE rating above 2300 at the start of the tournament nor had such a rating for at least one year prior to the start of the event. 9. Smoking and cell phones are strictly prohibited inside tournament hall. 10. The interpretation on any point not covered under these rules, shall be referred to the Appeal Committee headed by Tournament Director and its decision will be binding on all the participants. Protests, if any, shall be made within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident along with a fee of Rs. 500/- which will be refunded in case the appeal is upheld. No protest will be entertained after stipulated time frame. 11. Any misconduct or indecent behaviour may result expulsion from tournament. Parents are not allowed inside tournament hall. 12. Entry Fee (a) For Age Group Events : Rs. 500/- (For Females Rs. 300/-) (b) For Rapid/Women/Amateur Events : Rs. 500/- (For Females Rs. 300/-) (c) For Blitz Event : Rs. 250/- (For Females Rs. 150/-) (d) For Delhi Open FIDE Rated : Rs. 1500/- (For Females Rs. 1000/-) (e) For School Event : Rs. 1500/- per team

Participants need to send their entry fee along with Event Registration Form + DCA Registration Form + attested copy of valid age proof certificate to The Secretary, Delhi Chess Association, Hotel KC Plaza, 5588, Basant Lane, Paharganj, New Delhi Entry fees can be paid by DD/Cheque in favour of Delhi Chess Association. 14. Entries will be accepted only until 1 day before the event; thereafter organizing committee have the discretion to accept the entries with late fee of Rs. 100/- or to reject the entries. So please submit your entry well in advance to avoid last day rush and late fees. 15. DCA Registration for the year is compulsory for all participants. Players playing FIDE Rated event have to register with AICF also. DCA Registration Fee is Rs. 200/- and AICF Registration Fee is Rs. 250/-. AICF registration need to be done online at before forwarding the entry. 16. Participation Certificates will be given to all participants. We respect your relationship with DCA, Please don t call us on last day to register your entry. So, please pay your entry fee in stipulated time.
