6 Slip the pot cover over the pot and, if necessary, add a little glue to hold it in place. ine up the layers of the tree in order. ut some glue on the top of the pot then slip the largest layer over the dowelling. dd more glue then one of the Sunburst rystal spacers. ontinue layering the tatting and Sunburst rystal spacers alternately adding glue between each. f you have worked the sixth layer then use the larger bead or Hama bead between the 5 th and 6 th layers. ut the dowelling to approximately ½ inch (1 cm) above the top layer of the tree then glue one of the stars in place so that its centre is about level with the end of the dowelling; then glue the second star on the opposite side of the dowelling so that it matches the first star. ress them together so that they cover the cut end of the dowelling and allow to dry. hristmas Tree with beads 010 ennifer Williams This version of the hristmas Tree has very small (size 15) beads in place of the picots. t is important that the beads are very small because the tatting will not support larger ones.
