You will need approximately g of the yarn. 2. Alize Cotton Gold color brown (493) (Used for the hat, boots and the pot for the fur tree. Approximately 20 g of the yarn. 3. YarnArt Jeans, cotton (55%), polyacrylic (45%), 160m/174 yds g/1.76 Oz. color red (26). Weight: Sport (5 ply) (Used for the jacket, mittens and the strip on the hat). Approximately 20 g of the yarn. 4. Alize Cotton Tweed color light blue (40) Weight: Sport (5 ply) (Used for the scarf and the stripes on the mittens). Approximately 10 g of the yarn. 5. YarnArt Jeans color green (used for Christmas tree). Approximately 20 g of the yarn. 6. Some yarn in orange or terracotta for the nose. Weight: Sport (5 ply) 7. Crochet hook: 2 mm and 2,5 mm. 8. Chopstick (or any other wooden stick with a blunt end) for the stuffing of the toy. 9. Washable polyester filling for the stuffing of the toy. 10. Yarn needle a long needle for assembling of the toy beads - for the eyes small buttons in sky blue and red. Two buttons for the jacket and 8 for the decoration of the Christmas tree. One blue decorative button for the hat, two decorative buttons in red and two in blue for the Christmas tree. 13. A piece of copper wire 64 cm (25 inch) long for the trunk of the Christmas tree. 14. A small piece of cotton yarn in black to embroider the mouth. If you use the materials as advised above the final size of the toy is going to be 18cm (7") without the hat and approximately 20 cm (7,8") with the hat on. Crochet a chain of desired length (I did 90 chains) and make a row of double crochets on one long side alongside the chain. Crochet 3 double crochet into the last stitch and continue crocheting double crochet into the chain from the other side. Crochet the 3 double crochets into the last chain from the other end of the scarf and finish with a slip stitch, fix the yarn and cut it off. 10

Cut out two same round pieces. The crocheted bottom of the pot should be well stretched on the round carton piece. Take the piece of wire 64 сm (25 ") long and bend it in two. Take the bent end of the wire and form a spiral on the bottom of the pot. Put the wire spiral between the two carton rounds. Fix the construction with the help of the glue gun as shown in the photos. Put the construction aside and go on crocheting.
