1 Post-release LuxuryHITS and Stylish Home. Objects&Tableware LuxuryHITS and Stylish Home, Objects&Tableware exhibitions held from March 21 to March 24, 2013 successfully finished their work. Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow had a collective Danish stand in the front line - 42 sq.m in total with the participation of six Danish design companies this year: Ester&Erik, Rigmor Als, Upside Down, Lars Rank Keramik, Trollbeads and Bo Concept. Within four days of exhibitions 9068 unique visitors architects, designers, owners and managing directors of interior salons, restaurants, hotels, representatives of the large wholesale companies, distributors from all regions of Russia and the CIS, including honour guests - Ken Walsh - the commercial embassy secretary of the USA, Maurizio Zucchetti - the head of the Moscow office of "Banco Popolare", Anastasia Zubrilina the trade adviser of Embassy of Great Britain, Olga Tarasova the head of department of consumer goods of trade mission of UBIFRANCE, Kalayanee Sirikul - the sales representative of Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand, Wang Haiqiong - the representative of CIEC Overseas Exhibition Co. Ltd. are registered. LuxuryHITS and Stylish Home, Objects&Tableware exhibitions are one of the most perspective and interesting projects for promoting goods and services for the home in a premium class segment, search of new partners, negotiating and the conclusion of contracts. On the one hand it is a business venue for experts in the sphere of design, interior and decoration, on the other - a bright and beautiful event where each visitor can find all necessary for the home. Also, during four days of work of the exhibitions all guests and participants could visit the unique business program of the LuxuryHITS and Stylish Home. Objects & Tableware exhibitions, international forum Horeca - Just Horeca, conferences, master classes, seminars, round tables and presentations. Danish Embassy represented six Danish design companies this year. Søren Møller is the general director of the company Ester & Erik came by himself to participate and represent his brand candles. Søren is actively participating at all the Fairs around the world for many years already. Ester & Erik is a new company for the Russian market, but from the first experience at the fair we all could see a very high interest of the Russians to his amazing candles. Ester and Erik Møller began producing dipped candles in Their vision was to uphold the proud traditions, creating elegant candles of superior quality for an exclusive and critical circle of customers. Since then, Ester & Erik have developed the concept, improving and refining the traditional candle-making methods. Today, the company produces tapered, block and conical candles with exciting new

surfaces, including mother-of-pearl and lacquer. Yet the focus remains firmly set on the original idea of producing top-quality candles using the finest craftsmanship.

The dipping method and exceptional quality ensure perfectly shaped candles, which burn with a clean steady flame. Once the candles have slowly and attractively burned down, they extinguish themselves. What Søren Møller says about LuxuryHITS and Stylish Home, Objects&Tableware exhibition this year: This is the first time we show our product on the Russian market, and I have been really positively surprised about the standard and purchasing power of the buyers who attended the fair. We sense that the Russian market is truly ready for upmarket products like ours the distributors seem to have the knowledge and drive to get the best products from Europe and turn them into success stories in their own market. I see Russia as one of our focus areas over the next 5 years with a growth potential which exceeds any other market we are represented in. I decided to team up with the Danish Embassy on a joint stand with other Danish design brands, and it was a real success. The Embassy was a fantastic partner for us to have in a new show and on a new market, and the dedication and drive of the employees from the Embassy, who organized the stand and coordinated everything, was truly amazing. I could not have enjoyed the success I had without the help of the Danish Embassy and great employees who supported me all the time.

3 Another participant of the Fair is the Danish jewellery brand Trollbeads. This brand entered the Russian market only this 2013 year. The opening of the first store took place at the shopping centre Atrium in Moscow. But the history of Trollbeads brand began in Denmark in The first bead, which later gave the name of the Trollbeads collection, looked like the six faces troll s head. Till 2000 all brand products were designed and made by the members of the same family Nielsen / Aagaard. In 2002 the first glass bead appeared in the collection, and since then the demand for them has been steadily growing. Today you can find Trollbeads products in more than 50 countries. Trollbeads products are made of real leather, gold, silver, precious and semiprecious stones, freshwater pearls, murano glass. Everyone can find a product for oneself - bracelets, rings, necklaces, pendants and earrings. Trollbeads makes collections not only for ladies, but also for gentlemen and kids. What Oleg Shatilov, the general director of the Trollbeads Russia, says about the Fair: It is very nice of you to ask me about my opinion concerning the Fair. My comments are more than positive. It was a great pleasure and an honour for me and for Trollbeads Russia to be a part of such an important and big event. I can definitely say that the visitors showed the very strong interest in our brand. There were received a lot of questions and remarks both from the Fair's participants and visitors. All the time it was a pleasant and cosy atmosphere in which it was very comfortable to work, to consult people and to represent our jewellery. I'd also like to add a few words about the location of the Danish stand. Location was chosen extremely well and wisely, so our products have received more visualization and were represented in the right way. On behalf of the Trollbeads Russia I would like to thank the Trade Department of the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow and especially to the employees who helped us, supported us and maintained during four days of the Fair. We re looking forward to the new joint activities and arrangements with the Embassy of Denmark. 5 One more participant of the Danish stand is world famous Danish brand Bo Concept. The BoConcept story started back in 1952, when two gifted Danish craftsmen, Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm, decided to open a furniture factory in the small town of Herning, Denmark. Their goal was not only to make great quality furniture that looked good, it was to make it functional and give good value for money. Jensen and Mølholm got it right. Their vision turned BoConcept from a small furniture factory into Denmark s most global retail furniture chain with more than 230 successful stores in more than 50 countries. BoConcept still designs and manufactures furniture in Denmark. Their team consists of Danish and international designers, and they work with a few, hand-picked certified suppliers in other parts of the world. Their ambition is the same to create good, honest and useful design. Great design knows no borders. The basic need to feel at home is just as important in Shanghai or Berlin as in New York City, Moscow or Copenhagen. BoConcept offers customised design so their products can be adapted to your needs and dreams, no matter where you live and how much space you have 300 shops in 50 countries and a 60 year long history. This is a success that speaks for itself. Here in Russia the history is 9 years long and some of these in hard economic times. But the clients have been able to trust BoConcept. They have stayed in the market and consolidated their brand. So theirs is a success and style that you can trust. Danish design products represents a simple and functionalistic design, high quality and have an exclusive feel. BoConcept is a fine example of this exclusive Danish design, where every detail has been thought through. At the Danish embassy we value success. And here we have to thank BoConcept for showing to other Danish companies that success can be achieved in Russia.

7 One more very new company for the Russian market represented its brand at the fair this year Rigmor Als. Unfortunately Rigmor could not come to Russia by her own but her amazing porcelain products were exhibited and represented to the visitors. In her unique design she s giving her products a signal of lightness, simplicity and a touch of humor. Her colours are a palette of pastels in 15 different shades. She designs, produces and sells her products at her workshop and shop Keramikbutikken in the centre of Copenhagen. She is making products from 100% porcelain. It s burned at high temperature which makes the products fit for the dishwasher and microwave. A lot of visitors were very interested in her amazing porcelain Tableware.

8 The Embassy of Denmark also represented one more new company for the Russian market Lars Rank Keramik, unique ceramics. Lars Rank Keramik had their own brand corner at the Fair, the employee of the Embassy represented his ceramics and company to the guests. Lars Rank graduated from Jutland Art Academy in 2001 and has worked on numerous art and design projects always with ceramics playing a key role. Since 2004 he has specialised in designing and manufacturing high-quality ceramic products for home. Lars Rank s work is rooted in the Scandinavia design tradition. All his products are hand-cast in porcelain, a process that demands both precision and dedication. Pieces often have clean forms accentuated with startling decoration. The design process is an interaction between the ceramic material and the idea. It s not about controlling the ceramic material but about providing a framework in which it can flourish. Small variations make all Lars Rank products unique. Lars Rank s collection contains of a range of products: Tableware, vases, jewellery and candleholders.

10 There was one more absolutely unique Danish company represented at the stand Upside Down flower pots. Upside-Down is a plant pot in heavy rubber, designed as a fun, stylish and different alternative for storing your plants at home. It can be kept both indoor and outdoor - as long as the watering instructions are being followed. The design is based in the familiar and traditional flower pot, however, the pot is turned upside down, and cast in a flexible rubber material, which makes it a unique and interesting element in your home. The Upside-down brand was started 2 years ago on the idea of making something special and mind-blowing on the concept of always using rubber as our main material.
