10 Former researchers and engineers of UAlg, focused on underwater acustics ÁREAS OF EXPERTISE: - Consulting services in the area of underwater acoustics; - Development of innobative instrumentation for underwater acoustics; - Cooperation on R & D projects; - Commercialization of acoustic equipment Custom-made solutions on services and development of instrumentation, including acoustic and non-acoustic sensors, storage functions and telemetry data
11 New company coming out of the Business Ideas Contest of 2010 Mass production is scheduled to start in 2017 R&D Unit implemented in the Algarve region, in the incubator of the University.
12 MIRABILIS sustainable aquacultura Spin-off of UAlg, directed to the production of seeds of Prtuguese Oyster. This maternity for oysters, Crassostrea angulata species, focus on research and optimization of production techniques, combining academic knowledge and sustainable farming practices. Based d in the Algarve, MIRABILIS aims to address the needs of domestic and foreign markets and enhance the Portuguese oyster, ensuring their preservation.
