This is how I choose to start and there's a reason for it... There is a general feel that things are starting to stabilize again and the wheels of the economy are moving forward and rehabilitating themselves. What a great feeling it is! We have already participated in 6 trade shows since the beginning of We have met with many of you and have received some amazing feedback on our products, our service, and in general on The Vista System Experience. It is the overall "experience" that seems to stand out above the rest and we are very proud of this as it is the one area that cannot be imitated. Our signage system is not just pieces of aluminum and based on your positive feedback, you get that... Great things are happening and each time it is surprising us all over again to see how long it takes to expose you to a new product. Anyway, we keep developing products and updating you about it. Featured in this magazine are the upgrades we have made to all of our medium and large size extrusion, the Vista VBS. It has taken us a while to overcome your apprehensions regarding the strength and durability of the VBS system. However, those who have tried it have returned with wonderful responses. 3 A project to share Smart signage solution made for schools Vista System s elegant signage solutions were recently installed by Trykkmann Skilt Design at the Myre School in Vesterålen, Norway. Trykkmann Skilt Design from Norway, became our client in As ambassadors, they have completed ever since many big-scale projects using Vista System's signs. This beautiful project was installed at Myre School in Vesterålen, Norway. The customer request was simple enough: vandal free, aluminum signs, with a modern design, easy installation and adaptability to different graphic solutions, including Braille substrates. The result: over 300 signs were installed in the Myre School, including safey and security signage, Braille signs, door signs, wall signs, directories, suspended signs and flag signs. The project took 6 weeks to finish, including installation and graphics. The customer was very happy with the end result and incorporation of the signs with the overall design. A project to share 2

4 Our all new VBS extrusions We are proud to participate in the creation of a greener sign industry by introducing an environmentally friendly system to the market. Here at Vista, we are committed to continually strive to develop and improve our products, as new information and technology are made available. During the past few years, our design team began reviewing and redesigning most of our curved system to make sure it is as green as possible. We have dedicated ourselves to creating a system that is designed to last a very long time and be fully recyclable. The overall Vista System design, look and feel have remained the same on the outside, while turning eco-friendly on the inside. Five main new profiles were designed to cover a wide range of sizes from 400mm to 1200mm. All type of signs can be assembled based on the new VBS profiles: Wall frames Directories Double sided (slim/wide) pylons Triangular pylons Post pylons Projecting signs Suspended signs 3 VBS System

5 Same but same better The system includes three main side profiles (single sided, double-sided slim design, double-sided wide design), and 2 types of middle profiles. There's always the possibility to add connector elements for increasing reinforcement and fixing in large signs. Graphic implementations: Paper Aluminum Vinyl X-bond (aluminum composite panel) Gripper Extrusion The VBS side channel has an inner track into which a special plastic profile, that is designed to grip and hold the insert in place, is inserted. This greatly improves the hold of the insert to the sign itself. Our known leading curved sign system that is now based on the VBS extrusions has even more advantages that it had the past. Thanks to the smart design of the new profiles, the products are lighter, greener, more solid, and less expensive. VBS System 4

7 A project from the world Moofish Food Distributor s Headquarters at Mascot, NSW, Australia was recently clad with ACP (Aluminum Composite Panels) and therefore needed signage to match. Signarama Alexandria offered them Vista's sleek designed 3D illuminated Vista light pylon signage to complement the new building façade. The graphics were done on a 10mm acrylic surfaces, which proved to work very well with Vista System extrusions and curved shape. The entire project was installed within 4 weeks, to the full satisfaction of the end customer. designed products` and specific client requested signage solutions. 8 The life of a project - from necessity to completion A need emerges, followed by an incoming request; the design team does its magic. Eventually, the pictures from the field always prove that the effort was worth it. This is how a project is born, from our perspective Our ambassador, Inkcredible (Pvt) Ltd. received a request from project leaders, to submit an offer for complete signage solutions of CBZ Bank Head Office, Zimbabwe. The need emerged. As a preliminary step he arranged a meeting at our showroom and production facility in South Africa, together with bank officials and project architect. 9 The ambassador made sure we got pictures of the finished products after completion of the project. Watching these pictures always makes us happy, because we witness these amazing fruits of our entire team s hard work. Another reason for joy is the fact we can share these wonderful projects from across the globe, with all of you. A wonderful idea becomes a reality From the moment a project is conceived, until we receive pictures of the final result there is an entire process shared by many entities and individuals, yet Vista System s work methods and collaboration of our ambassadors, lead to that same idea to quickly and efficiently become a reality.
