3 Achiever of the Month Jarul Tyagi - Class IV II Position Term Champion,13th UCMAS State Level Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition Abacus Learning Greater Lucknow Ayushi Anand of Class 5 cleared the Third Year Exam of Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad with First division. Varnika Aggarwal of Class 5 cleared the First Year Exam of Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad.She also cleared the exam of Akhil Bhartiya Gandharv Mahavidylaya with the First Division.
4 Doll Decoration in Garba Style A doll decoration competition was held for parents of Classes Nursery, IV & V in the Junior Wing of the school on 10th & 11th of October to encourage, nurture and showcase natural creative flair. The theme of the competition given was decoration of dolls in Garba style to promote innovative platforms. Parents enjoyed exploring the extent of their imagination and expressing themselves.
5 Assembly on Gandhi Jayanti The students of class 6 conducted a special assembly on the occasion of 150 th birth anniversary of our father of nation, Mahatma Gandhi. They highlighted the vision of Bapu with respect to a caste free society where in every one is equal through a mesmerizing skit presentation. They emphasized on the need of sanitation and cleanliness by participating in Shramdaan activity where in they all cleaned their classrooms and campus. They pledged to make their motherland a better to live in by following the principles of Bapu in all walks of life.
6 Cyber Security Workshop
7 REINFORCING REDUCE & REUSE THROUGH CRAFT The Times of India group in collaboration with the NIE organized a Best out of Waste workshop on 4th October for Grade IV. In today s world recycling has a very important place. There are a lot of things around that are labeled as dump. Utilizing the best from unwanted things has become a generic necessity of every human s life. Teachers have a significant role in nurturing the value of environmental protection and conservation among children through creative craft activities like Best out of Waste. Mr Sushil Kumar used this extraordinary idea of using unwanted material in a creative way. This workshop helped to enhance not only creativity of the students but also helped them to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them.
8 Diwali Celebration- Presentation by Class II The students of class II celebrated the brightness of Diwali with great ardour and fervour.
9 Diya Decoration Competition
10 Dussehra Celebration-Presentation by Class I The festive season rang its bell at DPSG when class I students celebrated Dussehra with zeal. Different ways of Dussehra Celebration were depicted in the special assembly portraying Unity in Diversity.
11 Metric Funtusia Metric Funtusia Adding fun to learning creates the best educational experience possible. Keeping this in mind Metric Funtusia was organized for grade 3 students for a week in the arena of primary wing. Students measured their height and weight. They also weighed potatoes using pan balance. They used measuring jars to measure the exact quantity of water. They were given an entry ticket in a form of simple question based on conversion. Last but not the least their reflection was taken in through a feedback form.
