OF PARTICIPANTS VENUE RESULT :- VI TO XII : - INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP :- ALL THE STUDENTS FROM CLASS VI TO XII :- DPS GANDHINAGAR :- INTER SCHOOL Creativity is, allowing yourself to make mistake. Art is knowing which one to keep. A tree can t stand without its roots, similarly a talented artist also needs a platform to execute his talent. Delhi Public School Gandhinagar organized MUSART AURA-2018 so as to provide a platform to the budding artists to portray their inherent talent and to display their artistic acumen. It is an arena in which the expression or application of human creative skills such as Painting, Salad Dressing, Clay Sculpture, Wall Painting, Group Song Competition and producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or power is manifested. The most awaited MUSART AURA was inaugurated by our Principal in the presence of Head mistress, Head master, staff and participants by lighting the traditional auspicious lamp giving tribute to Goddess Sarasvati followed by Shloka. A total of 5 events took place in which about 85 students participated from eminent schools of Gandhinagar as well as Ahmedabad. Group Song competition was the first event for the students of classes VI to X which gave a gist about their creativity. It was followed by Salad Dressing in which young creative minds of classes VI to VIII made tasty salads. The third event was Clay Sculpture for the students of classes IX to XII made creative handmade models which were very attractive. The fourth event was Wall Painting for the students of classes X to XII in which they made the attractive wall with great enthusiasm.

5 MUSURT AURA Group Song Competition (Theme-Patriotism) Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students, Inter School Group Song Competition on Patriotism theme was organized at, on 1st December, Total 3 schools participated in the event. DATE: CLASS : VI to XII LEVEL OF COMPETITION: GROUP NO. OF PARTICIPANTS: 8 (Each school) VENUE : Auditorium, Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the competition. The theme of the competition was patriotism. Each school prepared a Hindi patriotic song under the expert guidance of their music teacher. The children sang the songs with lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feeling. The melodious songs pulled the heart strings of the audience. Each school showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the competition. The Judges, Ms. Prerna Barot and Ms. Kirti Periwal thoroughly enjoyed the mellifluous group songs. They were impressed with the confidence, the tonal quality and the fervor. Ms. Prerna Barot shared her views about the competition and also gave her valuable suggestions to help the children to do better in the future in co-curricular activities.
