17 Next Generation Substrates Research for Inkjet Projects DPC Aim: understanding ink-substrate mechanisms that govern print quality Co-project with Institute for Surface Chemistry (YKI), Stockholm, and participating companies and organizations. 21 Hybrid Printing Hybrid printing: Printing with two or more printing technologies. Hybrid printing gives the opportunity to combine the high speed of traditional printing with variable data printing. Applications: Transactional data printing (and transpromo) VDP on packages

22 Spectral Printing The research adresses the most significant issues related to spectral color reproduction. Examples include: Spectral printer modelling Spectral gamut mapping Ink selection for spectral printing Print quality Tri-chromatic reproduction Original Spectral reproduction
