1 How to dye "Single Pot Gradients" with Briony Mannering from Gradient My name is Briony. I am a mum to 2 busy boys aged 6 and 11, and wife of 13 years to Shaun. I first got into dyeing yarn in I had been shown how to dye variegated yarn by the talented Jo at Meraki Studios. I knew that I wanted to dye yarns, but which ones to do? I started researching and looking around for a gap in the market, and Gradient was born! There was a lot of trial and error to find the best way to create a seamless Gradient yarn without those pesky joins. Since then I have developed and perfected my technique using knitted Yarn Blanks. I can create large orders, with only the joins where I have joined 100gram skeins to each other. Quite a feat when I am sometimes dealing with over a kilometre of yarn. In this Demonstration workshop you will learn how to create what I call "Single Pot Gradients". As the name suggests, you use only one pot. You aren t limited to single colour gradients either. Think back to primary school art class, and how you mixed the Primary Colours. You will be shown how to create these Gradients using one colour, then I will move onto multiple colours. The possibilities are endless! Each participant will need to bring to class a copy of my ebook, which we will be working from. You can purchase the ebook in my Etsy store.

2 Learn how to Crochet a Bowl with Tanja Kozub from Tanja Kozub Knitwear In this workshop you will learn how to cut your own tshirt yarn by hand. You will then make a free style crochet bowl. You will need to bring your own tshirt fabric, even an old tshirt will do. Alternatively you can purchase XL Ribbon yarn in store to use instead. A 5-7mm crochet hook will be required which are also available to purchase in store. Basic single crochet knowledge is required.

3 DIY fabric tape with Tarryn Carr from Butter and Buntings Learn to make your own craft tape from material scraps perfect for Christmas wrapping, decorating, for a present or just cos. Who doesn't need pretty tape in their lives? All materials provided.

4 Hoop wall collage with Samantha McVie from May Bird Stitches Let your imagination run wild and create your own beautiful wall art using a variety of materials, pretty papers and embellishments. Kits in a variety of designs will be available to purchase for $15 on the night, if you have any special trinkets that you would like to include in your collage please bring them along.

5 Knitted "Bishi" water bottle carrier with Sandy Holdaway In this workshop you will be learning to knit on double pointed needles to make a water bottle carrier, using the free "Bishi" pattern by Georgie Hallam of Perfect for the coming warmer months. You will also be introduced to other methods that can be used for small circumference knitting and have a chance to try them out to see what you like, everyone is different! You will need a set each of 4mm and 4.5mm double pointed needles, (bamboo needles are highly recommended) plus 1 ball of Bendigo Woollen Mills 10ply cotton. All of which can be purchased in store. 6 Rose and heart garland with Lori Esse from The Little Lost Button Learn to crochet flowers, hearts and leaves - great for garlands and many decorative uses. Bring your own crochet hook and yarn, or purchase in store on the night. You will need to have basic crochet knowledge or have completed a Beginner crochet class to learn the techniques required. The next Beginners Crochet class is on Wednesday 19th November from 11am-2pm.

7 Handcrafted treasures with Angie Burger from Precious Little Sakura In this workshop we will be creating tiny soft creatures or Christmas ornaments from buttons, felt, embroidery cotton and eco stuffing. Basic hand-stitching will be shown. Bring your own medium sized needle and thimble if you have one. All other materials provided.
