1 BELL SYSTEM PRACTCES Plant Series SECTON ssue 2, November 1970 AT&TCo Standard NTERPHONE SYSTEM-1 A HOME 2752-TYPE TELEPHONE SETS CONNECTONS AND MANTENANCE 1. GENERAL 1.01 This section contains conversion and connection information for the 2752-type telephone set for use with 1A home interphone in conjunction with 3-type speakerphone. Connection information is also given for home interphone without speakerphone feature, but in such cases, it is recommended that the 2754-type telephone set be used This section is reissued to change section references in Operation with the 1A home interphone system requires installation of a 664B transmitter (ordered separately, Fig. 1). The loudspeaker circuit is controlled by the speakerphone control unit. With speakerphone OFF the speaker is connected to the interphone circuit; with speakerphone ON the speaker is transferred to the speakerphone circuit. The 3A cord reel shall be used when the telephone set is subjected to temperatures below 40 degrees F. The 3B cord reel shall be used when the telephone set is not subjected to temperatures below 40 degrees F.
