3 Drawings & Documentation Process Davidson Rotary Products ( Hp) and West Chester Dryers (NVC, HL, HB, EH) 1. Decide what type of drawings the customer requires a. Certified Prints are prints sent by engineering that will be used for manufacturing and assembly of the compressors. NOT FOR PRINT APPROVAL. b. Print Approval allows the customer to review the drawings and make changes as required. Order must be put ON HOLD by sales branch until customer approves drawings and take OFF HOLD when customer approves drawings for release to manufacturing. If the customer requests any changes to the scope of the equipment the order CAN NOT be taken off hold. 2. Quote price for drawing package required to meet customer requirements 3. Order Entry COPES (See Screen shots below) Drawings as Part of New Equipment Order 1. Enter CCN for Required Drawing Package 2. In J-Text : Enter address for sales entity contact for drawings (A/E, Salesman, Manager etc) 3. In J-Text : Enter any special drawing requirements. (ie. Tagging information, special title blocks) 4. DO NOT enter customer , drawings will not be sent directly to the customer SIEBEL/ ORACLE (See Screen shots below) Drawings as Part of New Equipment Order 1. Choose Product from Catalog 2. Add Required Product 3. Go To Line Items highlight equipment Line 4. Click Customize 5. Choose Required Options/Configure machine 6. Select Appropriate Drawings from Options 7. Select Order Notes Tab 8. In Order Notes, Enter address for sales entity contact for drawings (A/E, Salesman, Manager etc) o DO NOT enter customer , drawings will not be sent directly to the customer 9. In Order notes, Enter any special drawing requirements. (ie. Tagging information, special title blocks) 10. Select Note Type Select Internal Comment - Sales Order Drawings Ordered Separate from New Equipment Add to Original New Equipment Order Drawings Ordered Separate from New Equipment Order (Example: Customer decided they need Certified drawings after the time of the original equipment order) 1. Create Sales Order 2. Click on Line Item Tab 3. Enter required Drawing CCN in Part # field 4. Select Order Notes Tab 5. In Order Notes, MUST reference another order # with equipment that requires drawings. Enter address for sales entity contact for drawings (A/E, Salesman, Manager etc) o Example: Drawings for order # , Nirvana 125 CC, Drawings to jim_smith@irco.com o DO NOT enter customer 6. Select Note Type Select Internal Comment -Sales Order 4. Drawings for your order will be posted to the Drawings and Documentation Website and a link to this site will be ed to the Application Engineer or Inside Sales Representative 5. If Print Approval is ordered a. The sales entity is responsible for sending drawings to the customer. b. When the drawings are received back from customer Send to Approval_Drawings@irco.com. E- Subject MUST be as follows: Order #, Equipment Type/Model o Example: Order # , EPE Stage
