With its START TO COLLECT program, fotofever accompanies established and aspiring collectors to take their first steps in collecting photography through 5 initiatives : > The START TO COLLECT selection : fotofever dedicates a space at the entrance of the fair for a selection of START TO COLLECT artworks chosen from our exhibitors propositions. To be considered, please ensure that your artwork takes into account at least one the following criteria : emerging artists at the start of their career (age is not a factor) artists never shown in France artists working with specific or innovative photographic techniques one section of the exhibition will be dedicated to works < > The Coup de Coeur of the gallerist : each gallery selects an artwork which represents the ideal artwork for a first purchase. The artwork will be exhibited on his booth and clearly marked with a START TO COLLECT label provided by fotofever 1
2 > The Guided Tours : free daily guided tours will be available to the public. These will highlight artworks from the Coup de Coeur of the gallerist artworks. > The Children s Workshops : free daily workshops for children (6-12 years old) are organised Saturday and Sunday (11am-5pm) in a dedicated space of the fair to initiate their senses through photographic art and processes > The Discussions : fotofever organises daily talks with gallerists, artists and collectors. The public is invited to participate to these Discussions that demystifies the status of the collector and encourages to collecting. YOUNG In 2017, fotofever continues to be engaged towards young emerging players in the art world with the YOUNG section which highlights a selection of 8 very young galleries. Selected galleries will benefit from a 20% discount on the price of the booth and will be located in a dedicated section of the fair. Selection criteria : > Galleries founded in 2013 and after > Project must present emerging artist(s) > A gallery can not be selected more than two years in the YOUNG section Please note that the 20% YOUNG discount cannot be combined with SOLO discount SOLO SHOWS fotofever encourages solo shows therefore a 10% discount is granted to any galleries choosing to present a solo project. Please note that the 10% SOLO discount cannot be combined with YOUNG discount 2
3 FLOOR PLAN This innovating scenography, introduced in 2016, is composed of zigzag alleys which creates an open plan space offering a more fluid visit, allowing viewers to take in more artworks and meet gallery owners. Only galleries (artists and agents will not be considered) having paid the 1,500 deposit (which will be deducted from the booth invoice) by bank transfer or online before the 31 st May 2017 will be considered. for curatorial purposes and consistency, group presentations are limited to 4 artists. Sélection : fotofever operates on a collaborative selection process, working closely with each exhibitor to ensure the best presentation of their project. > Only artists selected by the fair management can be exhibited at fotofever paris 2017 > Only artworks produced in a maximum of 30 editions (all formats) can be exhibited > A hanging simulation of your space must be presented as part of your application Projects will be accepted progressively therefore the exhibition spaces will be allocated at a first come first serve basis whilst taking into account the relevance of the project in the space. The fair management is entitled to refuse entrance to any exhibitor that will have not paid the total amount before the fair. Please note that should your gallery be refused by the fair management, your deposit will be returned minus 300 of administration fees 5

7 REGULATION, TERMS & CONDITIONS ARTICLE 1 APPLICATION OF THIS REGULATION Applying constitutes a final and binding agreement to pay the full amount of the exhibition space and associated costs. The exhibitor agrees to fully and unconditionally comply with the clauses of the regulations. The organiser reserves the right to rule on any cases not covered by these rules and to add new provisions whenever it deems this necessary for the smooth operation of the show. The voidance, for any reason whatsoever, of all or part of one of the provisions of these rules shall not affect in any manner the other provisions thereof. ARTICLE 2 EVENT AND ORGANIZER fotofever paris 10 > 12 Nov 2017 I Carrousel du Louvre with an opening on 9 Nov Artistic and commercial international photography exhibition. The terms of organisation for fotofever (opening date, duration, location, opening hours, visitors fees ) are determined by the organiser and can be changed at his convenience. ARTICLE 3 TERMS OF PAYMENT A 1,500 deposit must be paid for your application to be considered. If your application is refused by the fair management, the deposit will be returned minus 300 administration fees. After confirmation of your booth attribution, the payment of your booth will have to be made in two payments : 50% of the price of the booth on receipt of the invoice the remainder minus the 1,500 before 15th September 2017 Any missing or incomplete payments of one of the terms at the stated dates gives full right, starting from the day after the date marked on the bill, to the application of a fee equalling twice the current rate for the allotted sums. ARTICLE 4 CANCELLATION The full amount of the booth rental is du to fotofever once the application has been accepted by the fair management. In case of withdrawal or in case of non-occupation of the booth for any reason, the sums paid and / or remaining due partially or totally, in respect of the rental of the booth, shall be forfeited to the organiser even if the booth is reassigned to another exhibitor. The exhibitor will remain liable for the payment of the entire invoice. ARTICLE 5 PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGES The fair management is entitled to authorise staff to make video recordings and photographs of fair booths and exhibits and to use the resulting material for its advertising purposes (catalogue, poster, internet, social media, press release, advertising). The exhibitor waives all objections arising from his rights of ownership and rights of use at all time, without restriction. Other people require specific written permission from the fair management for recordings of any kind. ARTICLE 6 SET UP AND DISMANTLING The exhibitor will receive in advance the exhibitor manual stating the instructions to be followed. Any stand remaining vacant before the beginning of the event and for which the exhibitor did not mention a late arrival will be used by the organiser at the exhibitor s expenses or will be allocated to someone else in order to fit harmoniously in the fair. If the exhibitor dismantles his stand before the end of the exhibition, the organizer is entitled to charge a contractual fine of 900. ARTICLE 7 EXHIBITORS 5 exhibitor badges are distributed by the organizer during the set-up. exhibitors with pending payment by November 2017 will not be allowed to access the fair. Wearing the badge is mandatory to enter and circulate in the venues of the event. each stand must be occupied at all times during opening hours, during the duration of the fair. The exhibitors are forbidden to sell, sub-rent or share their stand with someone else, against payment or for free. Any advertising outside of the rented space is forbidden. The cleaning of the common area and of the corridors is provided by the organiser. The exhibitor is responsible for the cleaning and tidying of his stand every day. Animals are not admitted to the exhibition. The only exceptions are guide dogs for disabled persons and for the blind and service dogs. The fair organiser cannot be held liable, in no circumstances, for damage caused by the exhibitor s delay in submitting order forms or failure to submit those forms (incorrect entry in the exhibitors catalogue, incomplete furniture during the set up ). ARTICLE 8 INSURANCE AND LIABILITIES The fair management subscribes to an organiser s insurance which does not cover the works of art and objects by the exhibitor during the fair. The exhibitors must make sure that they are fully covered by insurance on his booth and elsewhere within the fair and at all time on all risks on their property, exhibits or articles, public/civil liability and comprehensive protection against any loss and damage caused by any circumstances whatsoever. The exhibitor shall provide proof to the organiser that the exhibitor has the adequate insurances. ARTICLE 9 DATA PROTECTION Data specified by the exhibitor will be recorded and saved in the database of CY ART. CY ART will use the data, including company details, for the purpose of organising the events. CY ART will share the personal details with third parties if necessary and only to the extent of fulfilling the agreement between the exhibitor and CY ART. The mailing address, address and company details will serve the purpose of keeping the exhibitor informed about forthcoming events by CY ART. It is possible to withdraw consent to the promotional use of the data at any time. ARTICLE 10 FORCE MAJEURE In case of force majeure or in case that, for any unpredictable reason, the event could not take place, the application forms will be cancelled and the available funds, after payment of all due expenses, will be distributed between the exhibitors to a prorata of the sums paid by each of them. Exhibitors commit to follow and to apply the terms and conditions of the event as internal regulation. ARTICLE 11 CLAIMS In case of a disagreement regarding the interpretation or the application of the terms and conditions, the organiser and the exhibitors will look, before engaging in any legal procedure, for an amicable settlement and will exchange all the information needed at this purpose. If an amicable settlement is not reached within 30 days, the only competent authority will be the tribunal de commerce de Paris. 7
