1 UFO over Sao Bernardo do Campo SP Brazil Observations in red by Amanda Joseph Sept 29 th 2016 Original Fwd: UFO over São Bernardo do Campo - SP - Brazil Derrel Sims 28/09/2016 From: Josef Prado Subject: UFO over São Bernardo do Campo - SP - Brazil Date: September 28, 2016 at 7:46:29 AM CDT
2 Hi Darrel, As we talked about in Facebook, this is the original picture taken form the camera. I m also adding some other pics we took some days later, in order to help on the investigation, size and distance calculations. All taken with the same iphone. I have corroborated this using FotoForensics.com. The same iphone was used for the investigative photographs. The last photo was taken exactly at the same position the UFO photo was taken. The Light post was exactly 6m from the photographer and it is also 6m high. The photographer was holding the camera at 1,92m, a little bit over his head, and he did all the possible to get something on the horizon, in this case the light an trees, to allow us to have some reference, otherwise it would be just anything on a plain blue sky. As you can see here, we submitted the file to IZITRU, which runs a series of forensic tests on the pictures, and it had not detected any traces of manipulation. I agree no traces of manipulation are found. Fotoforensics.com can also detect manipulation and name the programs which was used to edit the image. This process found nothing problematic. I do not know however if Fotoforensics.com are any good at spotting apps that can be downloaded that add UFOs to photographs. I am not experienced in many of these faking ufo picture applications but the ones I have tried saves images only as simple jpeg files with no fancy photographic information and shutter speeds saved in the metadata. So it is improbable that the UFO was added using a fun app. I believe it is relatively easy to insert a UFO with an app, but not so easy (but not impossible) to also insert masses of metadata critical to a forensic analysis. The file was sent to then, using their own app, directly from the phone where the photo was taken. (In fact we did this just to document the situation, since I personally got the file from the camera and it was intact). Izitru: I wrote to then asking why its showing as a "medium" level, and they were not able to tell us, since they saw that everything is fine. My personal opinion is that their software, even confirming that there was no manipulation in the image, got a little confused because there is a large blue area and a few elements in the scene. You will also see a picture we took a few days later in the same location, simulating the position, while the witness was holding a 52cm square paper close to the light post, so we could take an idea of how much the camera lens reduce the size of the objects this cell phone camera. According to witness, the object was slowly hovering when he photographed it. While he was adjusting the zoom and focusing in the iphone (to get a
3 closer pic) it made a fast "L" movement and disappeared into the sky (going UP). We also submitted this photo to the Brazilian Air Force, which said: This is an amazing photo! And then followed saying that there was no UFO registered on their radars on that day. (We know that we cannot trust in this statement, but the first phrase, saying that the photo is amazing, is great, considering they are used to see things in the sky :) Well, if you need any other details, please let me know.
