We get asked lots of great questions, here you can find the most coon questions and answers. Doesn t the slot weaken the posts? Yes the slot does weaken the posts, however the bottom slots are braced with our patented Strengthening Plate, ensuring the bottom slots become the strongest part of the posts. Since the radius apron applies pressure to the ground could this posts push over? The radius apron does apply pressure to the ground ensuring it will form to ground, however the 2.5 medium tensile vertical pickets are not spring steel and in a relatively short period, its memory will change to its new position. Once the memory has changed to its new position, it will still require considerable effort to lift as you will be fighting the new memory, however will not be applying upwards pressure. Is the apron effective for both sides of the fence? The apron is most effective on the side it is facing, however it is still incredibly difficult to breach from the opposite side. Under extremely high pressure, we recoend an additional barb to be run on the ground. Does Clipex posts suit all post drivers? Clipex standard posts have an external diameter of 52 and our BEEFY posts are 79, however they can be slightly larger due to galvanising build up. This is larger than competing posts and may cause some issues with some drivers. We recoend you check your post drivers prior to installation, as they may need to be altered. (eg. Most jackhaer drivers are 50 and will need to be honed out to 52.) Can I buy through my local store? Yes you can purchase Clipex from your local store, however in most cases dealing direct with Clipex is your best option. This ensures that you will get great pricing, clearer counication and will deal with someone who knows the product. How often do you need to run end assemblies? The recoended tension on a fence does not change from a 10m fence through to a 10km fence. End assemblies add significant front to back strength to a fence line, however are not needed regularly to hold strain.
