13 SWITCH AND SOCKET BOXES BS SWITCH AND SOCKET BOXES Material Finish Standard Steel Pre-Galvanised BS4662 Socket Boxes are available in various depths like 25mm, 35mm and 47mm. They are designed with adjustable lugs for easy fitting of accessories and with one brass earth terminal. Each Box is produced with specified number and size of knockouts which allow adequate cable entries for wiring purpose. Normal Dimensions: One Gang - 72mm x 72mm, Two Gang - 132mm x 72mm. 14 SWITCH AND SOCKET BOXES BS STEEL ADAPTABLE BOXES Material Finish IP Rating Steel Pre-Galvanised IP40 / IP54 heavy duty adaptable boxes can be used as a junction box for installation with electrical conduits ranging from 20mm up to 150mm diameter. Boxes are supplied with and without knock out holes so as users can drill the required holes according to installation needs. The boxes can de supplied with a rubber gasket to improve the IP rating to IP54. It could also serve as an utility junction box wiring connection purposes. note: Supplied with Steel screws as standard. Brass or Stainless steel screws optional. Boxes are supplied plain without K.O. holes. Boxes with K.O. holes can be supplied upon special request with client s dimensions. Other specifications, and thickness can be supplied upon request.
