Read all instruc ons before beginning installa on. Milgard Integral Stucco Brickmould is part of the Window Assembly. Use exterior grade high quality sealants. 8 Special Instruc ons for Shape and Radius Windows Dry Fit Window into opening to ensure correct sizing and framing. Check for framing next to each Installa on Strap or Through the Jamb hole. Correct framing as necessary. 8

9 Flashing Flange Op on Warning! Flashing Flange will not hold or secure Window in Rough Opening. Do not puncture Flashing Flange. Skip to Step 4 if not installing op onal Flashing Flange. 1 Determine which Flashing Flange fits Stucco Brickmould Trim piece. Length of Flashing Flange is close to the length of Stucco Brickmould. 2 Press Flashing Flange into Stucco Brickmould Groove. Do not install Flashing Flange along Sill or bo om of Window. Insert Header Flashing Flange first. Insert Leg Flashing Flange flush with Header Flashing Flange. 9

11 Sealing Surfaces 4 Apply Sealant on back side of Stucco Brickmould around full perimeter. Leave 4 sealant gaps 4 from each sill corner. 11

12 Installa on Straps Skip to Step 6 if installing Through the Jamb 5 Rotate Straps 90 degrees. 12

13 Shimming 6 Push window into opening. Fully seat window against outside Weather Resistant Barrier. NOTE: Straps may not be present if installing Through the Jamb. 7 Shim next to each Installa on Strap or Through the Jamb hole. Check and correct window for plum, square and cross leg. NOTE: Straps may not be present if installing Through the Jamb. 13

14 Installa on Screws Skip to Step 11 if using Installa on Straps. 8 Remove indicated Jamb material to access predrilled installa on holes. Note: Some windows may have predrilled holes through the Jamb material. 9 Install provided screws through predrilled holes. Fully seat screws. 10 Replace Wood. 14

15 Installa on Screws (Con nued) For Installa on Straps only. 11 Slightly bend Installa on Strap around edge of Rough Opening. Note: If drywall is present, remove drywall in Strap area. 12 Install #8 x 1 5/8 Exterior Grade Screws through holes. Note: Angle screw slightly (15 degrees). As you install the screw, the Strap will ghten. Note: Make sure Strap and Screw Head are below outer drywall surface. 15

16 Complete Installa on Install Drip Fin (not provided) over Flashing Flange or Trim. Flash over Flashing Flange and/or Drip Fin. 16

17 Clean Up Wipe up any excess sealant. Clean up scuff marks with soap and water.
