2 DEMA We are an internationally acting company. DEMA specialises in the manufacturing of certain standard parts and also in the production of a particular group of fastener elements, parts and groups of components according to customer drawings for the automotive industry, aeronautical industry and the mechanical engineering sector. Our core competence derives from our orientation of the company towards the TQMapproach and from the mixture of our potentials and capabilities in engineering and our production technologies. This enables us to provide a technically efficient and economically acceptable product which has been produced by an optimally integrated fabrication. andard Program The standard program contains a group of Normparts for power transmissions and fastening techniques: Taper pins, Dowel pins, Grooved pins, grooved drive studs, Set-Collars, Slot Nuts, Screw Nuts for Slot Nuts, Parallel keys /Suspension keys, Taper keys/gib keys, Hollow Wedge/ Gib Hollow Wedge, Woodruff Keys Page 4-5 Cold Formed Dowels and Shafts From 3 to 18 mm Ø and in lengths of 10 to 120 mm. They do not differ much from the turned work pieces. According to the desired application, the parts will be hardened & ground or unhardened and if necessary specially treated. Parts can be delivered drilled, or notched, or with spiral grooves or air release flats. We have both centreless and plunge grinding facilities. Page 8-9 Custom Turned Part Work We do turning and grinding with conventional machines from diameter 0.5 to 20 mm. Our CNC machines can turn and mill from bars up to 60 mm. By employing a new generation of turning centres an All-in-one treatment is made possible. Page We are global specialists for components and engineering solutions. These are parts which are produced according special customer requirements and their drawings. These are parts which are produced according special customer requirements. These requirements are laid down on a drawing and we produce accordingly. This design is much more cost effective than the production of the spiral groove in a gear wheel to provide an oil supply. 11 Custom Turned Part Work The occupation with turned work pieces of this group is made interesting by its numerous variations. The quantities produced range form 1 single piece up to several million pieces. Modern CNC-turning technology is integrating more and more milling and drilling techniques. Therefore even more complex parts can be produced. The all-in-one treatment allows us to reduce the setting up actions thereby achieving higher precision and reducing cost at the same time. 13 Other Parts Materials and Semi-finished parts This is the basis for the quality of the finished part. Our core-competence mainly lies in the further treatment of cold-drawn profiles. By cold-drawing of the material a high dimensional accuracy, a smooth surface and work hardening is achieved. Special Profiles: The use of profiles, which are produced as close as possible to the finished product size, allows for a cost effective manufacturing of milled parts. Profiles are therefore one potential for saving cost of machines, wages and energy. Parts for Assembly Technology Our product range can be divided into 2 fields: 1. andard program: These are the common screws for T-slots, T-nuts and those for C-profiles. 2. Special parts program: These parts are produced according to customer drawings and those for special purposes are realised in projects working together with the customer. Milled parts/laserparts The milled parts are produced on universal, special and CNC-milling machines up to 5 axis. We therefore can produce a large variety of crosssections from 1 x 1 mm up to 120 x 60 mm and length up to 2 m. Photo: This nut which can be fitted into a C-profile has an automatically welded on flat spring and four grooves. These grooves are designed for breaking through the paint or the anodized layer on the surface on which the part is clamped. This is one example for our various production capabilities. Leave the Autobahn A6 at the exit Roth or coming on the A9 leave at exit Roth on to the B2 road in direction Weißenburg. Coming to the village Untersteinbach turn right in direction Bernlohe/ Georgensgmünd. You cross Georgensgmünd in southerly direction (Bahnhofstraße/Pleinfelder raße) almost to the end of the village until you reach a right turn off into the industrial area (Industriegebiet). There you turn into the Breitenloher Weg, where you will find us on the right side at building number 4. 15
