EFFECTIVITY Model D3A34C447 Propeller, MPC400 Model C400 Series Propeller Overhaul Manual and BOM100 Blade Overhaul Manual. REASON To provide revised information affecting the D3A34C447 model propeller and to announce that this propeller has been approved for installation on Cessna Aircraft Company Model LC41-550FG airplanes (Cessna 400 model airplane equipped with a Teledyne Continental TSIO-550-C engine). The information transmitted by Service Letter should be added to the MPC400 Model C400 Series Propeller Overhaul Manual and the McCauley BOM100 Blade Overhaul Manual. MPC400 Model C400 Series Propeller Overhaul Manual Revision 2, dated 1 June 2007, contains overhaul information for the Model D3A34C447 Propeller. The following tables provide blade criteria information for the 78MLB-0 model propeller blade, this information supplements the information in the McCauley BOM100 Blade Overhaul Manual, section , C400 Series Constant Speed Threadless Blade Dimensional Requirements. NOTE: The instructions contained in the McCauley C400 Series Overhaul Manual, MPC400,also applies to the propeller model listed in this service letter. Use the MPC400 and this service letter when servicing the C447 model propeller. 1. Description and Operation. A.
