2 Page 2 of 19 Tools you will need for Field Install Scale For 850/1050 Axles 1 1/8 socket for lug nuts. For 850/1050 Dual Axles 1 3/8 socket for lug nuts. For 850/1050 Dual Axles 1 /1/2 wrench for lug bolt. For 850/1050 spindle bolt and nut 15/16 wrench and socket 1 ¼ wrench 1 5/16 socket 7/16 socket and wrench Punch Rubber mallet/ hammer Anti-seize Zip-ties

3 Place supports (other than the jack) under the tongue of the cart before lifting the cart to remove the tires. Use a 15/16 wrench and socket to remove non-scale hub and spindle. Once the bolt is removed, remove the hub and spindle. (Repeat for other side) Page 3 of 19

4 Part # (Sleeve Insert) Once the spindle is removed, take the insert sleeve. Coat the insert sleeve inside and out with anti-seize. (Repeat for other side) Page 4 of 19 Once the sleeve is coated insert the sleeve into the axle. Using the punch to line up the hole in the sleeve to the first hole in the axle tube. (Repeat for the other side) First hole

5 Page 5 of 19 Make sure the sticker on the spindle is on top as shown. Insert the scale wire through the sleeve and slide hub and scale spindle in the sleeve. Using a punch to keep everything in line. (Repeat for other side) Handle the scale wire with care. Making sure not to cause any damage.

6 Once the hub and scale spindle is in line with the sleeve. Insert the bolt and lock nut and tighten to manual specification. Tighten with a 15/16 wrench and socket. (Repeat for other side) Page 6 of 19

7 Zip tie the scale wire to the axle as shown to keep it from getting damaged. (Repeat for other side) Page 7 of 19

8 Page 8 of 19 Place rubber protectors over the wire before placing them in the wire clamps. Once in the clamp tap the clamp shut with a rubber mallet. (Repeat for other side) There are 3 tabs on each side of the grain cart.

9 Page 9 of 19 Use a 1-5/16 socket and a 1-1/4 wrench to remove the hitch.

10 Remove hitch collar bolt with a 1-5/16 socket and 1-1/4 wrench to remove. Page 10 of 19

11 Page 11 of 19 After removing non-scale hitch pin insert the hitch scale. Run the hitch scale wire through the hole in the back as shown. Make sure the sticker on the spindle is on top as shown Handle the scale wire with care. Making sure not to cause any damage.

12 Page 12 of 19 Run scale wire under the PTO step guard. Handle the scale wire with care. Making sure not to cause any damage.

13 Run the wire along the hydraulic hoses and zip tie the cable in 3 spots. Page 13 of 19 Roll up the hub and scale spindle wires and zip tie to the hydraulic hose as shown. Zip Tie Zip Tie Zip Tie

14 Install junction box behind the manual canister Page 14 of 19 Monitor Tongue Part # (Junction Box) Right Side Left Side Plug in the scale wires. Zip tie scale wires as shown. Zip Tie Zip Tie Zip Tie

15 When you are ready to test your scale set all of the weight on the three weigh points. Page 15 of 19

16 Hook up all of your wires, turn on monitor and zero out the weight. Watch your monitor for fluctuation in the weight. If there is fluctuation check your wire connections or if wires are damaged. Page 16 of 19

17 Page 17 of 19 Place weight on the three weigh points, one at time. When removing the weight the scale should read back to zero. If at anytime that you are placing weight on one of the three points and the scale goes negative, the scale spindle/hitch weigh bar is upside down.

18 Page 18 of 19 NOTE: Torque ¾ lugnuts to 500ft/lbs. and 1 lugnuts to 970ft/lbs. and inflate tires to specified amount. Check weekly.
