2 Thank you for purchasing a 147C/147CC Cheer Floor from SPIETH America. We appreciate your business and value you as a customer! The 147C - 40' x 54' Cheer Floor is a Sprung Deck on which we install all of the springs for you. You just lay the floor in place and you are ready to tumble. The 147CC - 40' x 54' Cheer Floor is an Unsprung Deck. The Floor Panels are shipped with the springs unclipped from the plywood. This is saving you money by saving space when shipping. Not installing the springs also allows you to save money by installing the springs on site. Your Cheer Floor is constructed with the finest quality raw materials. We are sure you will be pleased with its quality, durability and performance. Please carefully read the following instructions before assembling and using your new equipment, as they pertain to the particular equipment you have purchased. The exclamation mark symbol when seen in this manual is used to indicate warnings or items that require special attention during the use or assembly of the apparatus. Assembly, set-up and adjustment of this equipment should only be undertaken by qualified persons. Use a rubber mallet to clip the spring into the top cap, and then clip the bottom cap to the spring using the same tool. 4 2. Floor, Diagrams and Drawings 2.1. Required Floor Space Be sure you will have enough room for the floor! Measure out the required floor space. The wooden floor panels will be 40 feet x 54 feet when assembled. If you are adding perimeter foam (SPIETH America #155C), then you will require an additional 1 foot on each side. Top corner panel Need a top half panel (2.5 x5 ) in order to cover the bottom panel. SPIETH America floors consist of Bottom Panels and Top Panels. The Bottom Panels have springs and the Top Panels do not. The Top Panels are used to overlap the seams of the bottom panels. Because the Top Panels need to overlap the bottom panels, it is necessary to create partial panels (e.g. Half Panels) so that the top can be completely covered (Please refer to the drawings on the previous page to see the layout of the 147C/147CC Cheer Floor). 1. Assemble bottom layer by laying out bottom panels one row at a time. Make sure that there are no gaps between the panels. 2. Assemble top layer by laying out top panels and overlapping the seams of the bottom panels (see image above). VELCRO HOOK TABS WILL BE TURNED DOWN, TO HOOK TO BOTTOM PANELS VELCRO PILE TABS. Check the rows for straightness. Always take your time in assembling the floor since fixing problems after the floor is assembled is difficult and may require complete disassembly of the floor. 2.3. Attaching floor perimeter (sold separately under SA Sport #155C) Using Velcro Pile Tabs on top side edges of the top panels and the straps provides with the foam set, attach the foam perimeter.

Start at the corner as shown on page Laying Down Foam Backed Carpet 1. Lay the first roll of carpet onto the floor and line it up with the outside edges (Carpet is unrolled widthwise). There are 9 Rolls of Carpet, 6 Wide X 42 Long. 2. Lay down the next roll of carpet and GENTLY push it against the edge of the other carpet. Make sure the first roll of carpet doesn't move or you will have to line it up again. 3. Line up both ends of carpet so they are even. Check for gaps between carpet as well as straightness after each piece is layed. 4. Join carpet by running Velcro tape down the seam. Again, make sure there are no gaps. Layout and join the rolls of carpet one piece at a time. 5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until all the carpet rolls are laid down and joined together. Page 7 of 8

SAFETY WARNING Any activity involving motion or height creates the possibility of serious injury including permanent paralysis and even death, from landing or falling on the neck, head, or other parts of the body. You assume a risk of serious injury in using this equipment. However, this risk can be reduced by strictly following these rules at all times. 1. Use this equipment only under the supervision of a trained and qualified instructor. 2. This equipment must be used only when protected by proper matting as recommended by the Federation of International Gymnasts (F.I.G.). If in doubt concerning proper matting, do not use this equipment. 3. This equipment must be used with proper spotting equipment and qualified spotters suitable to the activity or skill. Always consult an instructor. 4. Know your own limitations and the limitations of this equipment. Follow progressive learning techniques and always consult an instructor. 5. Always inspect this equipment for proper stability before each use. 6. Always inspect this equipment for loose fittings and parts. Replace any worn, defective or missing parts. 7.
