Drill a 19mm hole to receive the shoot and fix the shoot receiver plate with the screws provided. Chain Bolt: 1. Fix the bolt to the gate/door in the desired position using the screws provided. 2. If a receiver staple is being used, push the shoot of the bolt upward so that it lies against the frame. Fit the staple over the shoot and secure with the screws provided. 3. If using a receiver plate, use a sharp Foot Bolt: 1. Fix the bolt to the gate/door in the desired position using the screws provided. 2. Drill a hole in the floor to receive the shoot and fix the square receiver plate with the screws provided. Bow Handle Bolt/Monkey Tail Bolt: 1. Fix the bolt to the gate/door in the desired position using the screws provided. 2. Drill a hole to receive the shoot and fix the square receiver plate with the screws provided. Shoot Bolt: 1. Place the shoot bolt on the inside of the 40-50mm 6 & 8 Gate Latch: NOTE: on 5-8 Twisted & Plain Ring Gate Latches, keep slot and catch plate will be offset. 1. Drill a 12mm hole in required position for the spindle. (The spindle should be located such that allows the latch to overlap on to the door/gate frame by 40-50mm). Insert spindle into hole. 2. Install the ring gate handles on either side of the door/gate and secure mounting plates with screws provided (NOTE: Spindle included will accommodate up to a 100mm door/gate. Smaller door/gate will require the spindle to be cut down.) 3. Slide the keep at least 50mm along latch or until it is entirely on the door/gate ensuring that latch is level when resting on bottom of keep slot. Fasten with screws provided. 4. Position and fasten catch plate to door/ gate frame ensuring that the latch rests securely in hook

From the front, pass the thumb bit through the slot ensuring it is positioned so that it can be raised and lowered to its fullest extent. Also, it should fall back under its own weight when raised. Secure back plate with screws provided. 3. Moving to back of the door/gate, position the latch tail so that it is level Kenham Gate Catch: 1. Fix plate to the door/gate with approximately 10mm protruding. 2. Align latch on door frame, 10mm back from the edge of the frame. 3. Fix with screws provided. Kick Over Stable Latch: 1. Fix the latch bar to the door with the straight end extending 60mm. 2. Close the door and fix one of the catches to the frame under the latch bar so it holds it horizontal. 3. Fix the other catch to the door so it stops the latch when kicked at approx 30 degrees. Central Closing Gate Catch: 1. To be used in conjunction with spring fastener set, for gates hung between the posts. 2. Fit spring fastener arm to gate in desired position (supplied separately). 3. Fit central closing gate catch to post with coach screws provided (may need packing with washers or timber). Throwover Loop: 1. Close gates. 2. Align the latch in the desired position. 3. 45 Galvanised: galvanising is the process of applying a coating of zinc to steel. In this catalogue when galvanised is stated, this refers to a hot dip galvanised finish (approximately 60 microns), which means the product is dipped in molten zinc to coat every part of the product. The actual finish on the product is a thick, rough coating but it has great advantages as this creates a long term corrosion resistance. E-galvanised/BZP (Bright Zinc Plated)/Zinc plated: e-galvanised (electro galvanised) is the electroplating of zinc onto steel; this means the coating is a thin (6-8 microns), smooth, shiny finish, which makes it a more attractive product. However, the coating is not as corrosion resistant as a hot dip galvanised finish, as the coating is so much thinner. Pre-galvanised: product is fabricated from pre-galvanised sheet steel; thickness of the finish is approximately 20 microns, the corrosion resistance is between that of hot dip galvanising and electro galvanising.
