Unlike other coloured paneling, Valchromat is not merely coated but colourful to the core. Its high density wood fibres have been individually impregnated with organic, non-toxic dyes and chemically bonded using specially designed resins. This engineering process results in not just brilliant colour, but physical and mechanical properties that make Valchromat ideal for CNC machining. It s this dual versatility that is Valchromat s strength. Designed for interior use, Valchromat will make a lasting impression in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes, restaurants, bars, hotels, shop fitouts and commercial furniture. Easily achieve routed branding designs, bespoke patterns, shapes and 3D sculpture effects for retail and hospitality fit-outs. Valchromat is a natural product and features the minor surface discrepancies and differences in tone and colour. Go green in more than just colour choice with Valchromat s low-toxic properties. Made from recycled pine and mill waste Valchromat gives a second life to waste wood such as branches and chips, helping cut carbon emissions from manufacturing. Unlike other MDFs, the formaldehyde content in Valchromat is minimal, instead, a special organic non- toxic wood fibre bonding resin is used, allowing Valchromat safe to be used in the manufacture of kids toys. Formaldehyde emissions are within the lowest limit standards for wood based materials. Valchromat also uses an organic and non-toxic dye. Strong and durable, Valchromat scored extremely well on the AS test for heat and smoke release rates. Valchromat has been found to be more moisture and bowing resistant than typical MDF alternatives as is quite dense.
