Beyond that, here are some points that I wanted to see: Discussion of open architecture (and the impact that had on production cost and tie to market) Discussion of reverse engineering (Compaq, etc.) and the development of IBM PC clones Discussion of IBM PC clone/software - ubiquity of software across all PCs Discussion of IBM making PCs acceptable in the business world (ie. business world being a lot more familiar with IBM than Apple) 8
