1 MOAB 2018 Zombicide Sunday September 30 th One Day Event Presented by the Sutherland Shire Gamers and run by Stephen Webb. If you and your friends enjoy playing Zombicide, then this event is for you. Come along as a team of six and take on three other teams, all trying to escape the Zombies and each other. If you can t make up a team of six, or are all alone, register as an individual. This will be the most amazing Zombicide game that you have ever played. The layout will have 48, yes that is right, 48 tiles! When The Tournament will start at 9am. The first break will be at 10:30am for 30 minutes. The second break will be at 12:30pm, for one hour. 2 The third break will be at 3:00pm for 30 minutes. The finish will be when the first team escapes or at 5pm. Whichever comes first. Story Line The Zombie Apocalypse has just occurred, but some humans have survived, somehow You are one of the lucky ones, who have not been infected. Radio broadcasts have revealed that a USN Carrier group is just of the coast, waiting to receive any survivors that can get to it. The radio broadcasts mention that medical packages have been dropped throughout the city for you to use. Applying the medical pack to your body will provide you with proof that you are not a zombie and will heal you if you suffer a major trauma. As the packages are toxic to zombies, the application of one will prove that you are not a zombie, when you arrive on the carrier. Without a package, you will be terminated on arrival, as a suspected zombie! Your task, along with the five others in your group of survivors, that you have joined up with, is to get to an abandoned helicopter, which is in the vicinity and fly it to the carrier. Only a few problems remain to overcome: Getting to the helicopter The Zombies Any other survivors Obtaining petrol to fuel the helicopter Proving you are not a Zombie Teams Four teams, each comprising six players. That is a total of twenty-four players. Individuals may register as well and they will be formed into one or more teams. Prior to MOAB, each team will need to: 1. Provide the Name and Contact details for each player. 2. Nominate one player as Team Captain. 3. Provide a Team Name. 4. List their six chosen survivors and their starting equipment. 5 Survivors Select six survivors for your team from the first three Zombicide seasons or the two expansion packs. Each survivor in your team, must be unique. Each team can assign their six survivors to their players. as they see fit, plus their initial equipment. The initial equipment for a survivor can be one of a crow bar, fire axe or pistol. Note: You should have at least one survivor that can fly a helicopter, or else your team will be unable to fly the helicopter and escape from the Zombies. Bummer! Objectives Each survivor needs to get obtain and apply a medical pack represented by the objective markers, before they exit, or else This may be applied immediately, in which case place it beside your survivor s card or kept as equipment on your survivor s card for use later. Areas The tile layout will be divided into six separate areas. That is: The top left arm. The bottom left arm. The top centre. The bottom centre. The top right arm. The bottom right arm. Spawn Points Each spawn point is active if there is a survivor in the same area. Danger Level The danger level for each area is the highest danger level for any survivor in the spawn points area. 6 Rules As per the rules contained in Zombicide and the Competitive Mode rule #11 from Rue Morgue. With some replacement rules, as detailed below. Special Rules Wounds If a survivor suffers two or more wounds, they have suffered a major trauma. Lay the survivor on their side. Reduce their experience to zero, remove any extra skills due to their experience, drop all their items. If the survivor has applied a medical pack, they recover at the end of their next turn. If they have not applied a medical pack, one may be applied by another survivor. Any items may be retrieved, by them or any other survivor, one per turn. Helicopter The helicopter does not have any gasoline, so can t be flown unless it is refilled by using two gasoline items. These items can be found by searching. The helicopter can carry six survivors and as it is armoured, cannot be brought down by ground fire, as it exits the map. Survivor Interaction Any survivors that are moving in the same sequence and that may interact will go in order of experience. The survivor with the highest experience goes first.
