3 Curreny (Tourist Trophy) ( 2 Coins) Order 2018 Artile 1 Statutory Doument No. 2018/0149 Curreny At 1992 CURRENCY (TOURIST TROPHY) ( 2 COINS) ORDER 2018 Laid before Tynwald: Coming into Operation in aordane with Artile 2 The Treasury makes the following Order under setion 5 (1) and (3) of the Curreny At Title This Order is the Curreny (Tourist Trophy) ( 2 Coins) Order Commenement This Order omes into operation on the day after it is made. 3 Interpretation In this Order Tourist Trophy oins (without more) means oins issued by the Treasury of the denomination of 2, whih onform to the requirement as to weight, omposition, form and dimension speified in the Shedule. 4 Denomination and fae value of Tourist Trophy oins The permissible denomination of a Tourist Trophy oin, and the fae value of suh a oin, is 2. 5 Designs of Tourist Trophy oins (1) The obverse of the oins shall bear (a) (b) the effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth by Jody Clark, for use on the oinage of the Crown Dependenies and the ountries of the Commonwealth; and the insription QUEEN ELIZABETH ISLE OF MAN and the year of issue. (2) The arrangement of the obverse is shown in Figure 1. V01 Page 3

Coin One - 60 th Anniversary of Mike Hailwood s first TT Rae The oin shall bear (a) (b) an image of Mike Hailwood MBE, GM riding his Norton motoryle number 57 in the 1958 TT raes; the insriptions MIKE HAILWOOD and 60 YEARS representing the anniversary of Mike Hailwood first ompeting in the TT Raes; the image and insription being surrounded a laurel wreath. The value of the oin is depited as the numeral 2 and the word POUNDS in a irle, within an ar interseting the edge of the oin as shown in figure 2. Page 4 V01

5 Curreny (Tourist Trophy) ( 2 Coins) Order 2018 Artile 5 Figure 2 Coin One - The 60th Anniversary of Mike Hailwood in the TT Raes Coin Two 40th Anniversary of Mike Hailwood s return to the TT in The oins shall bear (a) (b) an image of Mike Hailwood MBE, GM riding his Duati motoryle number 12 in the 1978 TT raes, the insriptions MIKE HAILWOOD and 40 YEARS representing the anniversary of Mike Hailwood s return the TT Raes, the image and insription being surrounded by a laurel wreath. 6 Artile 6 Curreny (Tourist Trophy) ( 2 Coins) Order 2018 Figure 3 Coin Two - The 40th Anniversary of Mike Hailwood s return to the TT Raes in Weight, omposition, dimensions and amount of tolerane and variation of the Tourist Trophy 2 Coins (1) The Shedule speifies the weight, omposition and dimensions of the Tourist Trophy 2 oins and the amount of tolerane allowed, but subjet to paragraph (2). (2) Despite any other provision of this Order, a Tourist Trophy 2 oin that otherwise onforms to the provisions speified in the Shedule may be minted at double the weight shown in Column 7 of the Shedule as a piedfort.
