The vendors have provided the item descriptions and estimated prices, and as such the SQ Branch cannot accept responsibility for descriptions and conditions of Lots contained herein. All Lots will be on display prior to the auction start time and floor bidders are requested to assure themselves of the accuracy of listings prior to bidding. The SQ Branch, on behalf of the vendors, offer a 14-day money back guarantee to absentee bidders if Lots are not as described. All Lots are offered as collectible items and no other assurances or guarantees are given or implied. In all cases of dispute over terms or descriptions, the Auctioneers decision shall be final. Bids will only be accepted from current financial members of the Association who hold the appropriate licence in their State/Country of residence for the type of item being offered. Appropriate details will be checked with the National Membership Secretary All Lots won by floor bidders will be delivered to the successful bidder at the time of sale and all accounts will be settled at the completion of the Auction. All in good cond x 54 R Dutch Mannlicher, FN 22 1C 34 for some unknown reason all letters and numbers of this 4 position headstamp have been line cancelled, domed brass primer with Black seal, CNCS bullet, all original factory load early cartridges by the United States Cartridge Co. U. S. 38 LONG domed copper primer, round nose lead bullet U. S. 38 S & W. SPECIAL domed brass primer stamped U S round nose lead bullet Mark Wood Bulleted Blank, for BREN Light Machine Gun K. 60 L.10. Z this is a Dummy round with 1 small case hole near the base, copper primer, the book says Blue wood but this one is Black, segmented neck crimps to secure, see L & M page 177, this was the last of the 303 wood bullets Adaptor Cartridges, most are well known like our Morris long and short, some were quite exotic, this pair are the 303 Mullineux, with headstamp KYNOCH ADAPTOR Brass case with large rim, copper primer, round nose lead bullet, and the 303 WILKINSON Practice, this one with a unique Reverse Bevelled Rim, NO headstamp, copper primer, 2 grooved lead bullet A pair of 303 Murray Switch, Booby Trap rounds, M F 1942 V11 and M F 1943 G 11 both have ringed in copper primers, also known as T Slots, because of the T type slot in the case neck to lock in to the charge, made from reformed cases This ones a bit of a mystery, it s a Mark 7 Incendiary with most of the headstamp weak and unreadable, what can be read is 44 good deep letters, a faint R in the 11 oclock position and faint 11 in the 5 oclock position, so it is probably SR 44 BV11, there is no sign of Z after 11 if correct it is a Cordite loading,which are scarce, see L & M page 127 brass primer Blue seal, GMCS bullet good Blue tip, strong segmented crimp Rook & Rabbit, Rifle and Revolver cartridges. F. the base of the earlier rounds had a slight raised ring, domed copper primer, flat nose lead bullet with one deep groove, the second round has same headstamp, the domed copper primer has a stamped W (crossed ) donating a smokeless load, lead flat nose bullet, no groove x 58R Sauer & Sons cartridge, R W S 6.5 x 58 R it s a long slim, tapered, good looking round, brass primer, Red seal, Cupro-Nickel clad steel, soft nose bullet PROOF 5.56 x 45 round by FN developed in the mid 70 s, SURP FNB ( surp = Surpression / overpressure ) Copper washed case, brass primer 3 crimps, GMCS bullet, 10

5 segmented neck crimping x 52 Mannlicher, Hirtenberg, Austrian,Contract for Italy 1936 this is the original FLAT base round the M91 which was discontinued around 1900, the recessed grooved base was introduced in 1895, was this a very late secret contract round? Military 5.56 x 45 with headstamp code / / 8 / 586 / 7 made in 1987, 586 is a code used by Hirtenberg, of Austria for export to Sweden, brass primer with Red seal, and 3 stake crimps, gilding metal service bullet, magnetic Winchester, Short Range cartridge U. M. C U stamped on brass primer (smokeless) Short flat nose lead bullet with one deep groove, uncommon UMC Mod Blank, NO headstamp, large ring base, by Frankford Arsenal, the original case was a Tinned ball round, and traces can still be seen, domed Tinned primer, slight curved crimp over a Brown Shellacked wad, case length 1.85 in, see HWS 1 page 208, case writing otherwise VG cond Winchester 30 calibre Krag, W.
