1 REDDING DIES Redding Full Length 2 Die Set Full Length Die sets for bottleneck cases contain two dies. The Full Length (FL) Resizing Die contains a Decapping Rod Assembly with a (FL) (ST) Neck Expander (Size Button). The Seating Die (ST) includes built-in Crimp Ring and the proper Seating Plug. Redding Profile Crimp Dies These handgun cartridge crimp dies were designed for those who want the best possible crimp. Profile crimp dies provide a tighter, more uniform roll type crimp, and requires the bullet to be seated to the correct depth in a previous operation. These dies are not for cartridges that headspace on the case mouth. Redding Bullet Seating Micrometers A new Bullet Seating Micrometer has now been created by Redding for use with all standard seating dies using 1/2-20 threads. These Bullet Seating Micrometers are available for both traditional (STD) bullet shapes as well as the new VLD bullets. They provide a direct replacement for the original seat plugs and can easily be changed from one die to another. Not for use with their Competition Seating Dies. (TIC) (EXP) (ST) Redding Die Sets for Straight Wall Cases Die sets for straight wall cases contain three dies. This is necessary because it is not possible to full length resize straight wall cases and expand the neck for proper bullet fit in one operation. The Full Length Resizing Die contains a Decapping Rod Assembly. The Expander Die contains a Neck Expanding Plug. The Seating Die includes a Bullet Guide, built in Crimp Ring and the proper Seating Plug. Redding Trim Dies Redding trim dies allow you to file trim your cases without unnecessary resizing. Titanium Carbide has the highest hardness of any readily available carbide. The difference is in the microstructure. All these cases have practically no body taper and require a special type holder, which is constructed very much like a neck sizing die. Cases can t be bumped in and out of these holders like most rifle cases but must be forced in with a light arbor press or mallet and must be driven or pushed out. These holders are made longer than the cases to be trimmed so that cases may be forced clear in without damage to case mouth. Holders are counter-bored at mouth end for cutter clearance. Users will find the case trimmer somewhat slower on pistol cases than on rifle cases but it will produce a very uniform case length with consequent perfection in crimping.
