Officer response was cancelled prior to arrival. The complainant stated that someone had contacted her via facebook messenger claiming to be a relative and tried to solicit her for money. Every child in attendance was able to pick out either a hat or a pair of mittens. Paul Bunyan, Mill Pond, Jenny's Lane, Crowley Island Rd. At one residence an officer opened a storm door to check the interior door and smelled a strong propane odor. The fire dept was notified. Entry was made and a gas leak was located inside the structure. The gas was shut off and building ventilated. The owners were contacted. The others properties were found to be secure. The vehicle was unable to be located. The property owner had stated that she had seen evidence of someone inside the residence on her cameras. Officers cleared the building but no one was found inside. Contact was made and it was determined that there was no issue. An officer responded and determined the call to be a result of mental illness. The officer was cancelled while enroute because the caller located the owner. 7 Law Incident Media Summary Report, by Date Page 7 of 21 Incident Report # : G Synopsis: On 12/15/18 an officer received a complaint of a vehicle in Sullivan traveling toward Gouldsboro that was all over the road. WHPD and GBPD officers were already in position on Route 1 after having just cleared a call for assistance from Hancock Sheriff's Dept in Sullivan. The WHPD officer located the vehicle in Sullivan and followed it into Gouldsboro where the Gouldsboro officer stopped it. The driver said she had fallen asleep at the wheel and when she woke up she was in the wrong lane. She then pulled over to take a quick nap and eat. She was almost home when the officer stopped her. No charges were filed. The Deputy who the officers previously assisted stood by, but was not needed for the stop. Date: 08:40:35 12/17/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 17th a 2008 Subaru Forester hit slush, lost control and went off the road on South Gouldsboro Road. Number: G Nature: PD Accident Date: 07:53:52 12/18/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 18th Trenton Willey, age 29 of Bangor, drove his red 2015 Chevy 2005 off the side of Route 1 in Township 7. The roads were slippery due to slush and Willey lost control of the vehicle. There were no injuries

Island Point Drive The property/properties were found to be secure. Number: G Nature: PD Accident Date: 06:44:24 12/19/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 19th Melissa Harrington, age 45 of Winter Harbor was driving her red 2016 Chevy Cruze on South Gouldsboro Road towards Route 1 when she hit a deer. There was no damage to the vehicle and the deer ran off. This crash was deemed non reportable. Number: G Nature: Information Report Date: 09:04:01 12/19/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 19th an officer took a report of a suspicious phone call received by a Gouldsboro resident. The caller stated that it was urgent that the residents daughter call back right away to avoid legal action. The resident recognized this as suspicious and reported it to Gouldsboro Police Department. The incident was investigated and documented. No further action was taken at this time.

After investigating the incident it was determined to be unfounded. The incident is being investigated and possible charges are pending. Number: G Incident Report # : G Nature: Suspicious Person/Veh/Incident Date: 09:17:53 12/22/18 Synopsis: On 12/22/18 an officer took a report that a camper had been parked in a vacant lot on the West Bay Rd early the morning before and nobody has been seen around it. An officer responded to find the camper with no license plate, missing a wheel, a flat tire and the door locked. He contacted the property owner to see what they would like to do with it. Later in the evening the camper's owner was determined and the camper was removed the following day. Number: G Nature: Traffic Violation Date: 10:34:41 12/22/18 Location: T-7 Reporting Zone Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On 12/22/18 as a result of a traffic stop on Route 1 for Illegal Attachment, Richard Loiselle, 46 of Steuben was charged with Attaching False Plates and Failure to Provide Registration Certificate.

Rolfe's was contacted to remove the camper. GBPD was assisted by WHPD. The investigation continues. Number: G Nature: PI Accident Date: 09:43:59 12/25/18 Incident Report # : G Synopsis: On 12/25/2018 an officer assisted the Hancock County Sheriff's Office with a fatal car crash investigation on Route 1 in Gouldsboro. The alarm was determined to be a fire alarm and the Gouldsboro Fire Department was called out to assist. The officer was not able to locate a key holder so GBFD made forcible entry. No signs of fire was found and the alarm was determined to be from a fault in the system. The damage was repaired and the building secured. Number: G Nature: Citizen Requested Assistance Date: 15:11:24 12/27/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 27th an officer was informed by Gouldsboro Town Office that a resident had found a syringe when walking on Toms Meadow Road. The syringe was located and disposed of. Number: G Nature: Information Report Date: 17:12:07 12/27/18 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On December 27th an officer took a complaint at the Gouldsboro Police Department, stemming from an incident that occurred on Chicken Mill Pond Road. The incident was determined to be civil in nature and was documented. An officer responded and found the residence to be closed up for the winter. Number: G Nature: Agency Assistance Date: 17:06:25 12/28/18 Incident Report # : G Synopsis: On 12/28 an officer responded to Joy Rd to assist Schoodic EMS at a medical call. As the ambulance was arriving another medical call was dispatched in Winter Harbor. The officer transported an extra member of the EMS crew to the Prospect Harbor station to retrieve the second ambulance so that the Winter Harbor call could be responded to quickly. The officer then responded to that call for a lift assist. WHPD also was on scene to help. Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor Police Departments made contact with both the complainant and the subject, and it was determined that there was no issue. The incident was not investigated further.
