The workshop should give each participant an opportunity to draft a brief memoir. The finished memoirs will be collected in an anthology. Copies will be distributed to participants and the anthology will become part of the MVWP library. The workshop enhances and supports participants' writing practice. Their responses to the workshop will be collected and added to the MVWP archive.

If you're just getting started, or if you have a work in progress, join us for one, two, or three Tuesday evening writing workshops focusing on life writing. We'll do a variety of activities that will give you an opportunity to collect memories and draft your own life story. October 2: Visualizing your Life October 16: Building your Story in Stages October 30: Putting it all Together Fees: $45 per session; $100 for all three sessions.
