4 LUSTIGT puzzle LOSE YOURSELF IN THE LUSTIGT WORLD Doing this colourful 40x65 cm puzzle of the LUSTIGT world helps to develop children s logical thinking and fine motor skills whilst they learn more about shapes and sizes. Once the puzzle is complete, they can use their imaginations to explore the world and its inhabitants. 5 LUSTIGT dart game AIM FOR FUN Safe, easy and fun for younger children, these darts stick to the target with Velcro. Two sides, one colourful and one white and grey, make it simple to take turns. Just make up the rules yourself. Perhaps one player can aim for yellow and the other red; it s all up to you. These darts are educational, too: trying to hit targets helps children develop the ability to estimate distances and coordinate movements. In the process, we got a group of kids to play with the products and give their opinion on what we could improve or change. That gave us priceless learnings and also one big eye opener. Henrik Preutz Many IKEA designers, such as Sarah Fager, Maria Winka, Andreas Fredriksson and Henrik Preutz worked one the LUSTIGT collection. We also collaborated with the design agency Vår who developed the world on which many of the games are based. Vår is very good at creating imaginary worlds, where there are no rules, rich in many details that create a sense of endlessness where the play can just go on and on says James Futcher, Creative Leader for LUSTIGT.
