Versatile Configurations The Foldingsystem adapts to your Requirements! 2 Basic version This commonly used solution covers the basic needs in automatic fan- and crossfolding. It is often upgraded with the optional rotation unit for A2 sizes and the optional flat output stacker. 3 with High Capacity Output Tray If large jobs must be processed, the output extension can be upgraded to the system later on. 4 with Double Belt High Capacity Output Tray or Sorter The two output belts provide stacking and sorting of large volumes of folded drawings. 5 with Offline Manual Feeder and Finishing Functionality This system is used with large volumes and provides complete end processing of drawings. > Offline Foldingsystem with Fan- and 6 This system is used for the professional offline folding of color or black and white plots. All finishing options as punching, cut-outs, reinforcing or hanging strips are available. There is also a fanfold only version available.

Online Control with RS232 Interface The RS232 interface enables folding and finishing parameters to be selected from your PC or plot management software. It is simple and convenient to select specific folding and finishing paramters for individual prints directly from a CAD station. All Bay Folding Systems are fully compatible. Touchscreen and Remote Control The choice is yours. You can operate the folding system with the graphical touchscreen interface, with the touchscreen remote control, or via a network PC using the Bay remote software. Transfer Bridge with Multispeed Technology The sloped transfer bridge with multispeed technology and a paper cooling system ensures high performance at low operating costs. This permits minimal interdocument gaps and a visual check of print quality before finishing, as well as simplifying the change of paper rolls in the printer and enabling offline operation at any time.

4 Offline Manual Feeder Paper is easily folded with the offline manual feeder. The professional version is ideal for higher volumes and its high-speed paper feeder (situated at an ergonomic height) is suitable for standard paper, colour plots and special papers. Patented Rotation Unit for A2 Formats Do you want to process A2 formats from the A1 roll? Do you need an additional roll for transparent paper or other roll widths? No problem. The patented rotation unit for A2 formats provides an additional virtual paper roll. High Capacity Output Tray The single belt high capacity output tray provides additional space for approx. 150 drawings. Flat Output Stacker Large quantities of unfolded originals or fanfolded paper can easily be stacked using the flat output stacker. When not in use, the stacker can be folded down for storage. The flat output stacker may also be controlled via software. Double Belt High Capacity Output Tray and Sorter The double belt high capacity output tray for sorting and for larger volumes of paper, holds approx. 400 drawings. For added convenience, the sorter can be selected via the network. Format Navigator Folding Systems professional Folding and Finishing The format navigator recognizes print samples as well as unfoldable formats and separates them automatically. Professional Punching, Cutout Punching, Hole Reinforcement To maintain the highest quality standards, the Foldingsystem features self-sharpening parts. This ensures clean 2 or 4 hole punching of folded packets (also in A4 formats). The precision cutout punching looks very professional and enables drawings to be opened from within a ring binder. Transparent hole reinforcement strips prevent paper from tearing. Hanging Strips The Attractive Alternative The pre-punched hanging strips are distinguished by rounded corners of environmentally friendly PET and very simple roll to change. All formats (including A4) can be punched additionally as well. Precision Long Plots up to 12 Meters With its unique folding belt technology, paper up to 6 meters long (up to 12 meters in length is optional) can be folded to millimeter accuracy.
