4 Demo Mode Update interval is accelerated when the register lid is opened. During the accelerated detection period, magnetic tamper is sampled once every minute at the top of the minute. Detection takes two sample periods to trigger the alarm ( seconds in accelerated mode). If the lid stays open, the accelerated detection period lasts for seven minutes after the lid is opened. If the lid closes before the seven-minute timeout, the accelerated detection period lasts for three more minutes after the lid closes. After the accelerated detection period alarm time threshold is set back to two hours and sampling goes back to happening once per hour at the top of the hour. 4
