Its high electrical performances allow to test or simulate all kinds of generators or loads with high dynamics, very low noise over a wide voltage range. One switch unit: o A set of relays activated to connect amplifiers in parallel, o Options ISO OUTPUT & POWE ANALYZE to generate voltage and current readbacks and do measurements on outputs. The POWE ANALYZE is described on page 6 of this document. HIL system send pilot signal to amplifiers and receives read-backs from output voltage and current. Power amplifiers and DC switch unit are equipped with emergency button. One action on an emergency button switches off all power amplifiers of the system. 2 / 2

7 200 kw 4Q POWE AMPLIFIE POWE ANALYZE FACILITES The POWE ANALYZE included allows acquiring voltage and current signals simultaneously at a maximum sampling rate of 100 kech/s, performing calculations and returning the results of the calculations or samples to a host system. Each channel has its own memory and its own 16-bit converter, allowing sampling on both channels simultaneously. It offers synchronous analytics with the process and enables a significant reduction in the cycle time while improving the accuracy of the measurements. Three modes of acquisition are available : Permanent mode, Synchronous mode, Acquisition-compression mode. 8 200 kw 4Q POWE AMPLIFIE THE THEE MODES OF ACQUISITION Permanent mode: signals are continuously analyzed and measurement records are updated periodically. They are accessible by the host system and provide information on the current value of the channel. The time base for the calculation (FFT) is fixed or issued out of the analyzed signal. In the latter case, a high-speed PLL (over one period) calculates the sampling frequency to acquire 1024 points per period. After acquisition, the board makes a FFT without windowing (or rectangular) guaranteeing a high accuracy of measurement with only one period. Synchronous mode: measurements are engaged / disengaged on order of the host system with an accuracy of 100 µs. ecords are updated only during this time period, so that the measured parameters are correlated with stimulus driven also by the host system. As for the previous mode, the time base is fixed or dynamic. Acquisition-compression mode: this mode is possible only on the 2-way cards. Sampling is at the maximum frequency, but only the points that differ more from x % (x being programmable) of the previous point are preserved and dated. It is thus possible to have a maximum of details during a sudden change and a minimum of memory used if the signal is "flat". This mode is particularly suitable for the measurement on a DC bus (batteries for example). CONTOL SOFTWAE Puissance+ OPS3 software allows configuring for each card measurements to be carried out (for example card installed in an AC load system). By activating the continuous repatriation of measurements, this "Power meter" screen is refreshed periodically. It displays the instantaneous values of measures. The rank of the harmonic can be also selected. This Acquisition screen configures the duration of a sample and the duration of the acquisition. It allows also saving the acquisition and launching software visualization OPS1. 8 / 8

Option PCU-200k-ISO OUTPUT : add read-backs of voltage and current ead-backs of voltage and current are isolated from output. With an amplitude ± 10 V peak, they are real time images of voltage and current on the output of the source. This option is included in the transformer and switch unit. Y-coordinates express the current. Continuous operation is allowed inside diagrams. In generation or absorption limitations are due to the heating of the power transistors. The OPS3 software communicates with the source using an Ethernet or serial link. Example of screen on a similar system The OPS3 software allows sending simple commands (ON / OFF, voltage range, maximum current) and to read and view simple information (status, voltage, current).
