4 Message from John Cassaday and Heather Shaw When we founded Corus in 1999, we established a set of Core Values that continue to shape our day-to-day activities and drive our success. Our values Accountability, Initiative, Innovation, Knowledge and Teamwork are embedded in our culture and resonate with our employees. With these values, we have built a strong corporate environment that engages employees, encourages collaboration, fosters innovation, and drives our performance was an important year of growth for Corus Entertainment as we completed a number of significant acquisitions. We acquired 100% of our specialty television service ABC Spark. We consolidated our ownership in TELETOON Canada and its five specialty networks. We entered Quebec with the addition of the market-leading networks Historia and Séries+. Then, in January 2014, we acquired two Ottawa radio stations giving us entry into Canada s fourth largest radio market. While we are very focused on growing our business, Corus is also committed to being a sustainable and responsible corporate citizen. The work we do to support our employees, our industry, our environment and our communities is a critical part of our success. Last year, we introduced our first corporate social responsibility report. This year, our report provides additional information on our accomplishments that support our many constituents and the communities that we serve. On the philanthropic front, Corus has a long track record of supporting community initiatives. To date, we have contributed more than $210 million through our fundraising drives, air-time support and cash contributions to important causes in the communities we serve.
