1 SOFREL PCWin Telemetry and SCADA Central Station The SOFREL PCWin Telemetry and SCADA Central Station forms an optimum solution for operating networks of SOFREL Remote Terminal Units. Complete and easy to use, PCWin allows operators to: View the status of all facilities, Process data by means of mimic diagrams and Excel curves and tables, Report any alarms to stand-by staff, etc.

2 SOFREL PCWin Communication PCWin can communicate with all SOFREL Remote Terminal Unit ranges, over a broad variety of media: Public Switched Telephone Network, GSM Data and SMS, Radio, DL/PL, Ethernet, along with local bus. The Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are also compatible with Modbus and Modbus TCP protocols. PCWin thus centralizes all data from distributed sites and displays them in a clear manner, thus allowing efficient operation of the telemetry and SCADA network. Database PCWin centralizes all data provided by SOFREL Remote Terminal Units. Acquired data (statuses, setpoints, historical values and reports) can be viewed and edited directly, with no specific configuration required. PCWin can both display the network status at a time T, or monitor changes over several years through the analysis of key data.

This allows data to be easily transferred from the PCWin database to tables and curves. Files generated in this manner can be shared over a local network and other applications, or automatically edited and printed. The tables and curves generated in this manner may interact with the graphical mimic diagra m s. Alarm reporting and voice server PCWin can report alarms from all sites to media such as mobile phones (vocal and SMS), , etc. in order to ensure that stand-by staff can be contacted at all times. This function possesses all elements required for simple and efficient reporting, including weekly and annual calendaring features. PCWin also possesses a voice server for intera c t i v e consultation of alarms and data centralized within PCWin from a simple telephone handset.
