Geary: Thank you for all the nice things you said about our February 28th program. This letter verifies your reception, as the report checks 100% with our Program Log. I am familiar with the 'TIRO', having had one when operating W7HDS before Pearl Harbor. Understand QRN was pretty tough for most of the listeners on the east coast, and want to thenk all members of the NRC for their patience. Wishing you a lot of enjoyment in Your hobby of Ming with best of luck on other Wyoming stations. Best 739, Welg (Mrs) Lizette Wolf, Engineer Announcer Feb. 28 program Your postage appreciated.

MEYER WNER ANO MANAGER Mr. Kermit Geary, R.F.D. #2, Walnutport, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Geary: This will confirm your report of KPOW's Frequency Check of Wednesday morning, March 2L, from 2 to 2:30, MWT, and dedicated to the National Radio Club. I am very happy to have received all of your letters regarding this check from you members of this National Radio Club. Our monthly check is made every fourth Wednesday of the month from 2 to 2:30 A.M., MWT. Mr. Meyer is a Class "A" Amateur Ham, therefore, our transmitting equipment was his biggest hobby before he entered the U. S. inavy. I am trying to "keep the home fires burning" until he returns after the duration and can take over again. Incidentally, I might mention at this time that he built his own shortwave transmitter for our home and holds "WAS" and "WAC" certificates. He designed a three -beam antenna, which occupied two pages of QST Magazine of May, I would be very happy if you would drop me a line at any time you hear KPOW on the eir. If in the future you would like to have another dedication made, just drop me a line and I shall be very happy to do this. Very truly yours, RCM/ mk Rosemary C. Meyer Manager Radio Station, KPOW
