2 1 ANUBE SPORT AnubeSport is using the STELLA device throughout the Spanish Championship, Asphalt, Off-Road, Gravel, Ecological and Historical. It is in the Off-Road Championship where more functions are used. Especially for the use of overtaking, speed limits and dangers. All vehicles carry two GPS devices that transmit every 10 seconds via mobile coverage. It uses always the operator with best coverage and also transmits long-range radio, for example SOS alarm that is sent to clerk of the course and others participants. We can transmit by satellite when there is no mobile coverage, via the IRIDIUM system and Globalstar as backup. It is totally online, you can see in race direction or in internet if it is authorized. 7 6 TYPE OF DEVICE STELLA device includes four types of communications: GPRS SATELLITE Communications module using phone operator with best coverage at every moment. IRIDIUM / GLOBALSTAR Worldwide coverage. You can connect to a satellite communication module. RF module long-range communications to transmit alert messages to other nearby vehicles. Automatic and accurate timing, needs small antenna at the finish line. RADIO TRANSPONDER

11 10 PLACE OF THE DEVICES We allready have finished a new device called SPICA that has all the functions of Stella, and with measures of just 75x50x30mm, highly recommended for motorbikes. Competitors will have installed two devices just for security. One in vehicle and another small unit in the participant backpack or jacket to cover all possible cases against a possible accident. 12 11 DEVICES FOR THE ORGANISERS We always provide GPS devices for free for caravan of the rally, members of the organization or even the helicopter, because in main office comes in handy to know at all times the location of the available means. 18 17 SERVICING OF THE DEVICES The system does not need any support, antenna, or connection to vehicle. It is fully autonomous and is responsibility of Anubesport personal install, check and recharge if necessary. Daily our technical staff will perfome correct function test. Also, there is a simple check of functionality that can be done by competitor. Waterproof Resistant to dust and water.

19 18 PRECISION OF THE TRACKING STELLA and SPICA device uses GPS + GLONASS + DGPS (Egnos / Waas) Position accuracy is less than two meters. Internal GPS High sensitivity internal GPS

20 19 UPLOAD DATA FREQUENCY Device records positions every second. The online tracking is usually ten seconds in areas with GPRS transmissions. Other areas with Iridium s network will have a rate of about 2 minutes in Special Stage and five minutes in the links. These intervals depends on the status of the satellite constellation of Iridium network because in some specific cases can not be sent any position. Long range radio messages help us to send alerts or possibles positions through other nearby vehicles. In all cases the GPS devices record a position every second that can be reviewed when relayed to the main office. 1 Positions every second Record positions every second or even 100ms 10 Online By default, sends position every 10 second. Also, each vehicle carries two autonomous devices with internal antennas and batteries, and the competitor can not turn off the device. Can not be manipulated Startup and shutdown remotely.
