4 SCC What does it cost? STUDENT TYPE TUITION NOTES In-District* $103/credit hour $118/online credit hour Defined as someone whose residence is within the boundaries of St. Charles County. Excludes: St. Charles County residents who reside and pay taxes in the Washington School District. Out-of-District In-State $154/credit hour $169/online credit hour A person whose residence is in Missouri but outside St. Charles County. Out-of-District Out-of-State or International $216/credit hour $231/online credit hour Includes international students holding any of the following visas: F, H (except H-1B), J, M, O-2, P, Q FEES: In addition to an $8/credit hour technology fee, there are additional fees assessed for specific majors, laboratories, individualized lessons and some distance-learning course formats. You'll also have to pay for specialized testing. It's not because we don't like you these actually cost the college more money to provide! *Foristell students should confirm with the College's Admissions Office whether their address is within St. Charles County. Students who live in areas of Foristell that are outside the boundaries of St. Charles County will be charged Out-of-District rates. Now all you need is the money. At SCC, we ll help you determine your eligibility for scholarships and other financial aid available from SCC as well as many federal, state and local sources. Find out more: SCC SCC offers a variety of scholarships. They are awarded based on academic merit, financial need, academic interests or community service. Degree-specific awards, as well as more general scholarships, are also available. There s one quick and easy application to complete. 5 Academic Trustee Scholarship DEADLINE: March 1, June 1* and Nov. 1* * Available if funds remain. AWARD AMOUNT: Cost of tuition for fall and spring terms at in-district rate only CRITERIA: This is a full-tuition waiver scholarship provided to students who meet the following requirements: 3.0 cumulative GPA on your most recent transcript Score of 2700 or higher on the GED Exam or score of 68 on HiSet exam Score of 23 or higher on the ACT Students who are A+ Scholarship Program-eligible and/or have 64 completed hours are not eligible to receive this scholarship. Applications available starting Dec. 1; due March 1. SCC Foundation Scholarships DEADLINE: March 1 AWARD AMOUNT: $500-3,000 CRITERIA: Must be attending SCC. Applications available Dec. 1; due March 1. A+ Scholarship Program The Missouri A+ Scholarship Program affords students who have graduated and successfully met the requirements from a designated A+ Missouri high school the ability to earn up to $ per credit hour toward tuition for up to four years following high school graduation. There s much more to learn: stchas.edu/aplus A+ First Steps Students need to apply to SCC to obtain a student ID number. All A+ students must complete a new FAFSA for each academic year. The priority deadline to complete the FAFSA is June 1. Have your final transcript sent from your high school with the A+ seal.
