3 General Settings 1. To Restore factory settings,scan the following barcode Restore defaults (Restore factory settings) 2. Two Match mode : One to one / More to one One to one one scanner to one receiver Matching Operation (1) plug the the USB receiver to computer (2) scan the following bar code to Match the receiver Match the receiver More to one several scanner to one receiver Matching Operation if you have 3 scanner: scanner #1, scanner #2, scanner #3 (1)plug one usb receiver to your computer,(note:please do not replace the receiver in the following procedure) (2)match for the scanner #1:scan the above match the receiver code (3)match for the scanner #2:scan the above match the receiver code (4)match for the scanner #3:scan the above match the receiver code 3

4 After that,3 scanner can transmit the data to one receiver. 3 Two upload mode : Instant upload mode Instant upload data to the document you have opened. Storage mode Scan and store barcode inside the scanner, and uploaded the data to your device when you need it. (1)To set the scanner to instant upload mode,scan the following barcode Instant upload Mode (2) To set the scanner to Storage mode,scan the following barcode Storage Mode **Scan the following barcode to upload data Upload Data 4

Customized prefix and suffix also be the alternatives. Numeric and alphanumeric data are both avaliable. 8

10 Frequently ask question Question:The scanner can t be power, after pressing the key, the red lase appear and then goes out, but there is no bar code display in the input box Answer: 1. The USB receiver has not plugged into the computer USB port, please make sure that the USB receiver has been fully plugged into the USB port 2. The USB port of the computer is out of condition, please plugged the USB receiver into the USB port of another computer to test 3. The plugged receiver are not matched with scanner yet, or the scanner is set to storage mode or USB Virtual, please unplugged the USB receiver and plugged it again, then scan the following bar code: Restore Defaults-Matched the receiver-instant upload mode-usb_hid 4. The cursor is not in the input text box, please make sure the cursor is in the input box where you want to upload the bar code 5. If the USB receiver indicator goes out or flasher, it 10

11 indicate that the receiver is broken Question: After pressing the key, the scanner is not response, or the red light flashed three time and then the scanner shut down automatically Answer: When the power less than 20%, the scanner cannot start as it enter into low voltage cutoff mode to protect the battery. Please charge the scanner at least for 30 minutes before using. If the scanner still can not start after charging 30 minutes, the battery out of condition. Buzzer and LED tips Battery level indication 1. Turning the scanner on, when the buzzer rang DI DI DI and the blue light is on with no red light flashing, it indicates that the battery is sufficient 2. Turning the scanner on, when the buzzer rang DI DI DI and the blue light is on with the red light flashing, it indicates that the power less than 30%, please charge the scanner as soon as possible 3. When the buzzer doesn t make a sound and the red 11

12 light flashes three time. It indicates that the battery less than 20%. The scanner can t be power as it enter into low voltage cutoff mode. Please charge the scanner at least for 30 minutes before using LED tips during charging Plugged the black USB cable into the USB port of computer 1. Charging mode: the blue light is on with the red light flashing 2. Full charged mode: the blue light is on and the red light goes out 3. Micro-current charging mode: the blue light goes out and the red light flashed (Note: this is battery protection phase, please do not use the scanner in this condition) Tips during scanning In instant upload mode 1. The blue light flashed and the buzzer rang DI when the barcode upload successfully 2. The red light flashed and the buzzer range a slow 12

13 DI---en when the barcode can not be upload In storage mode 1. The blue light flashed and the buzzer rang a fast DI---en when the barcode is saved successfully in the build-in memory of the scanner 2. The red light flashed and the buzzer range a slow DI---en when the barcode can not be saved in the build-in memory of the scanner. This indicates that there was not enough memory to save the bar code. Please upload the saved bar code by scanning the code upload date and then clear the saved bar code by scanning code zero cleaning. Tips during matching Plug the blue USB receiver into your computer, scanning the code Match the receiver to match the scanner with the receiver 1. If the match succeed, the buzzer rang DI DA - DI DI DI 2. If the match failed, the buzzer rang a DI---en 13
