Quill InkFlow continuous ink system All our Quill systems are for pigment ink printers where it is necessary to change between Matte Black and Photo Black black ink. Our system makes it easy to make the change and still keep the necessary quality from each of these inks. Using Photo Black black ink on Matt Papers is most unsatisfactory no matter how well you are profi led. For best quality on Matt Papers use Matte Black ink. 35 Colour Management Colour Mismanagement All devices capable of displaying colour do so using their own interpretation. Therefore they are all different. The same is true inkjet printers. This individual interpretation is the reason you (quite likely) don t get what you see on screen represented on your paper output. Colour Management Implementing colour management ensures that your colour maintains its integrity from capture through to output. By implementing ICC profi ling at the printing stage of the process, coupled with calibration and profi ling of your monitor you can ensure that your colour is carried with total accuracy. Fotospeed can provide a bespoke profi ling service that will guarantee accurate, consistent colour throughout your output process. For instance, each time you take a picture with your digital camera, your camera will embed a profi le within each image fi le. This profi le is a description of the colour within that image fi le.
