Entrants must own and have exclusive copyright to all images they submit. b) All accepted and Award winning photos displayed in the exhibition hall on 4th, 5th and 6th December 2015, at Chithra Kala Parishath, Bangalore. If it is sold, Trust will be share the profit with the author. c) All the images will be displayed with multimedia projector. Media type JPEG, Resolution is (Longer side) 2400 pixel & color space is SRGB. Maximum file size is 3 MB. Entries submitted on CDs, DVDs will be accepted. Images must be in JPEG format. The organizer will not be held responsible for computer errors in reading the images.

Any adjustments must appear natural. k) All final work must be digital file. All acceptances will count for FIP Star Rating and Who s Who. l) Each image must have title. No title or identification of the maker shall be visible anywhere on the face of an image. m) Participants are requested to send their entries, appropriate entry fees well in advance. Late entries will not be entertained and the Entry Fee will be retained. If the entry fee is not received within the closing date, photographs may not be considered for judging. n) The Panel of Judges decision is final and binding, no further appeal will be entertained. 5 FIP/67/2015 DEFINATION MONOCHROME (Section A): An image is considered to be monochrome only if it gives the impression of having no color ( i.e. contains only shades of gray which can include pure black and pure white) OR it gives the impression of being grayscale image that has been toned in one colour across the entire image. (For example by Sepia, red, gold etc.) A grayscale or multicolored image modifi ed or giving the impression of having been modifi ed by partial toning, multi toning or by the inclusion of spot coloring does not meet the defi nition of Monochrome and shall be classifi ed as Color work. The image is defi ned as having varying shades of no more than one color (various shades of that color from very light to very dark) but it may be any single color. Multi-toned images (various shades of two or more colors) and grayscale images with added an accent color are not acceptable. OPEN COLOR (Section B): The salon shall have open section for color digital image Pictures on any subject including creative or experimental images can be submitted. Entries must originate as photographs (imagecapture of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifi es the work as his/her own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and / or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates. Creative is defi ned as altered reality. Nature Definition (Section C):: Nature photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict all branches ofnatural history, except anthropology and archeology, in such a fashion that a well-informed person will be able to identify the subject material and certify its honest presentation. The story telling value of a photograph must be weighed more than the pictorial quality while maintaininghigh technical quality. Human elements shall not be present, except where those human elementsare integral parts of the nature story such as nature subjects, like barn owls or storks, adaptedto an environment modifi ed by humans, or where those human elements are in situations depictingnatural forces, like hurricanes or tidal waves. Scientifi c bands, scientifi c tags or radio collars onwild animals are permissible. Photographs of human created hybrid plants, cultivated plants,feral animals, domestic animals, or mounted specimens are ineligible, as is any form ofmanipulation that alters the truth of the photographic statement. No techniques that add,relocate, replace, or remove pictorial elements except by cropping are permitted. Techniques thatenhance the presentation of the photograph without changing the nature story or the pictorialcontent, or without altering the content of the original scene, are permitted including HDR, focusstacking and dodging/burning. Techniques that remove elements added by the camera, such asdust spots, digital noise, and fi lm scratches, are allowed. Stitched images are not permitted. Allallowed adjustments must appear natural. Color images can be converted to greyscalemonochrome. Infrared images, either direct captures or derivations, are not allowed. Images entered in Nature sections meeting the Nature Photography Defi nition above can havelandscapes, geologic formations, weather phenomena, and extant organisms as the primarysubject matter. This includes images taken with the subjects in controlled conditions, such as zoos,game farms, botanical gardens, aquariums and any enclosure where the subjects are totallydependent on man for food. Photo Travel: (Section D): A Photo Travel image must express the feeling of a time and place, and portray a land, its distinctive features or culture in its natural state. There are no geographical limitations. Close-up pictures of people or objects must include distinguishable environment. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any element of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. All adjustments must appear natural. Conversion to full monochrome is acceptable. Derivations, including infrared, are unacceptable.

6 WATCHERS INDIA TRUST, Bengaluru WATCHERS INDIA TRUST is an organization formed by a group of service oriented wildlife enthusiasts. The members of Watchers are a diverse group of people working together to achieve a common objective, i.e conservation of Wild Life. Watchers India Trust is conducting a Wild Life awareness and a fund raising event on December 9th 2012 at the Tulips Resorts, Bangalore. All proceeds from the sale of tickets of this event and the amount collected through this event will be used for the following activities: Organizing medical camps and awareness programs to bring down the illegal wildlife trade Spreading the message to the world about animal welfare, wildlife, nature and its importance in maintaining the eco balance. Appointing fire watchers to control fire during summer. Providing water, glucose and first-aid kit for the government staff to keep the fire watchers in position. Building anti-poaching Camps.Motivating watchers and guards to work effectively in the grass route level. Providing jackets, torches, binoculars, antibiotic powders and mineral tablets to the Watchers. Establish Eco-development programs with tribal community settled inside the park. Implementing habitat maintenance techniques. Giving tribes education, and encourage them in taking veterinary science and forestry and agriculture, by supporting them with scholarships and hostel facility. Only when the last tree has died and the last animal has been killed and last river has been polluted and the last fish has been caught, we realize that we cannot eat money. Let us not allow this to happen. We can stop this only by conservation of Wild Life. Come, lets all join hands and make it happen with commitment. Please do come forward to buy the tickets and be a part of the one entire day event that s going to happening at the Tulips Resorts Bangalore on December,9th 2012, and thereby doing our bit to the conservation of Wild Life. Some prominent people are also going to be a part of this event. Put the kind back in Mankind, conserve Wild Life.
