1 D4s Custom Banks Settings Shooting and Custom Setting Menus Created by: Winston C Hall Tuner Photography 714
2 D4s Shooting and Custom Settings Banks This guide is an outline of my recommendations for the Shooting and Custom Settings Banks for Landscape, People and Sports photography. Bank D is set to factory default settings so you can customize this bank to your desired settings. The best approach for using the bank settings is to first review all of the settings one at a time, so you are aware of how your camera will be set up and operate. To effectively use the customized banks you re committing to selecting the desired bank for the Shooting and Custom Settings Menus at the beginning of each photo session. Manual Settings Set Up If the Shooting Menu > Extended Menu Banks are turned off the following six settings must be manually set and can not be assigned to a Shooting or Custom Settings Bank. Bank A Bank B Bank C Bank D Set Up Manual # Control Landscape People Action Default Exposure Manual Aperture Priority Shutter Priority Program Exposure Mode 125 to 131 Mode Button Mode Dial Single Single Continuous Single Release Mode 111 High Metering Matrix or Matrix Matrix or Matrix Metering Mode 123 Selector Center Weighted Center Weighted Focus Mode AF-S AF-C AF-C AF-C AF Selection Mode 52 Selector AF Area Mode 53 AF-Mode Button Single Dynamic 9 Points Dynamic 21 Points Dynamic 51 Points Bracketing 140 BKT Button 7F 1.0 HDR sequence OFF OFF Off 2
