2 NANCIE KING MERTZ Announcing my new book, Urban Pastel Painting ANNIE STRACK Annie Strack s paintings were accepted into the Chadds Ford Winter Plein Air, the Kentucky Watercolor Society s Aqueous 2018 National Juried Show, and the North Star Watercolor Society s 4th Annual International Juried Exhibit. She judged the Salem County Art League Annual Exhibit in New Jersey, and demonstrated painting for the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. She taught painting workshops in Provence, France; Charleston, South Carolina; the Gloucester County Art League in New Jersey; the Maris Grove Center in Pennsylvania; and at the Community Arts Center in Pennsylvania. DOUG AJA Douglas Aja has been sculpting African wildlife since the late 1990s. "From the time I was a child, I was drawn to Africa and its wildlife. He has done a bronze of Basketball Hall of Famer Sam Jones, called 'Money in the Bank', which recently won Best in Show in the AAPLs 'Celebrating the Spirit of America' Members Theme Show Selected Awards: American Artists Professional League: Grand National Exhibitions: Frank C. 4 Mourning Erin STEVEN PARTON This summer my painting: CHICKEN FEED was judged into the Nor Easter Exhibit at the New Britain Museum of American Art. The judge was Stephanie Harboush Plunkett, Deputy Director & Chief Curator of the Norman Rockwell Museum. The exhibit was held 6/23-7/15/18.

8 LOU SPINA I received Honorable Mention for my acrylic painting "The Hunted" in the "Winging It" exhibit put on by the NY - NJ Trail Conference depicting art of birds & bugs. Lured In received First Place Honors in the acrylic professional category of the 16 th Annual Bergen County Juried Senior Show. The show was held at the Art Center of Northern New Jersey.

9 LURED IN CANDACE CIMA I have had two paintings juried into the 2018 Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors. August 4, 2018 to September 30, 2018 at the View in Old Forge, New York. I have attached photos of the two paintings accepted titled "Oh My Gosh" and "Red Drum". My painting "Done Fishing" received the "Content and Composition Award" from the American Professional Artists League in their Spring 2018 Online Show. My painting "Urban Boredom" has been juried into the 83rd Annual National Juried Exhibition of the Cooperstown Art Association in Cooperstown, NY. July 13, 2018 to August 17, 2018.

11 DONE FISHING URBAN BOREDOM GRACE SCHLESIER Fellow, recently won the Award of Excellence - Best Use of Medium in the AAPL Spring Show for her 44 X 33 oil painting titled SPRINGTIME IN THE VALLEY. This piece will also be included in American Women Artists Museum Exhibition titled FULL SUN American Women Artist Illuminate the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA. Dates are August 2 Sept 16, A museum show at the Bonita Art Museum, Bonita California, will also host a juried show of Friends That Paint, a Plein Air group headed and founded by Grace Schlesier. The show begins on June 29 th with a

12 reception from 5:30 7:30 that evening. The public is invited. The third attachment above is titled SUMMER a 12 X 16 oil plein air painting will be a part of this show. Grace is also one of 29 juried artists invited to participate in the annual show at the Horse Whisper s, Monty Roberts- Flags Up Farms in Solvang, CA. The show is titled SLOPOKE Fine Art of the West, Exhibition and Sale October A TIME FORGOTTEN, is one of twelve Schlesier oil paintings juried into this venue. SPRINGTIME IN THE VALLEY

14 SUMMER DON TAYLOR Don Taylor's painting, "Linked In", was his 3rd acceptance in the recent Watercolor West and 42nd Annual TWSA exhibit earning him signature membership in both societies. His painting "Pizzeria Roma" is currently in the American National Exhibit of Watercolors in Old Forge, NY. His painting "Melk Abbey" is currently exhibited in China with the Missouri Watercolor Society International Exhibit. His painting "Linked In II" is on

15 exhibit in the 41st Southern Watercolor Society exhibit. Don's painting "Artillery Man" won the Gold Award in the 2018 Tallahassee Watercolor Society TriStates Exhibit. His painting "Melk Shadows" is on exhibit in the Hudson Valley Art Association exhibit. "Linked In II" and Pizzeria Roma" were accepted as finalists in the Jack Richeson Landscape and Architecture exhibit. LINKED IN JOSEPH FAMA New Haven Paint & Clay Club: 117th Annual Juried Exhibition: One painting and one drawing displayed in the show --Rye Shore -Afternoon & Figure Drawing. Won Prize: Carle J. Blenner Prize 2018 Adirondack Plein Air Festival: Selected as one of the artists to participate in a week-long event in August. 4th Annual Art Around Town: Chappaqua, NY.

KATHY DETRANO First Place, Stirling Studios and Gallery, Dunedin, FL, monthlong show to benefit animal rescue, May Miss Roxy, 14x11, soft pastel on Multimedia Artboard MISS ROXY TONY ARMENDARIZ FMCL was honored with the Academic Artists Excellence Award in the watercolor category for his painting Dave at the 2018 Academic Artists Association's 68th Annual National Exhibition of Traditional Realism at the Arts Center East in Vernon, CT.

17 DAVE LIRON SISSMAN Liron Sissman's painting: Late Summer Sail, oil, 24"x36", was selected by Ambassador Juster as part of Landscapes of America to be featured at the US Embassy in New Delhi, India. This is part of Art in Embassies, a program curated, funded and organized by the US Department of State. Liron Sissman is an elected Fellow. She is excited by the Ambassador selection of her work and hopes her painting helps bring a 'piece of home' while on a mission abroad. An image of Late Summer Sail (shown below) is attached. 18 LATE SUMMER SAIL CYNTHIA CRIER I was just notified that that Jackson Square has been honored with the Philip Guston Award for Excellence in the exhibition "Greenwich Village: People, Places and Things" (March 2018) at the Salmagundi Club, New York.

19 JACKSON SQUARE SHELDON MARKS My pastel painting Lady Liberty was an award-winner in the AAPL Celebrating the Spirit of America Members Show. It was also selected for exhibition in the Sierra Pastel Society s Pastels on High 2018 Show, Sacramento, CA, July 16-August 12. No More Vacations was selected for exhibition in the Pastel Society of Cape Cod 2018 Show, June 17-July 24
