These finishes not only protect the environment but also provide a superior, furniture grade finish for the wood and can stand up to virtually any household food product or chemical without damage. Our finish meets or exceeds specifications* required by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association: MILD AVERAGE HARSH Coffee Mustard Nail Polish Remover Tea Household Ammonia Carbon Tetrachloride + Water Detergent Shoe Polish Vinegar TSP Cleanser Bug Spray Beet Juice Household Soaps Wax Crayon Citric Acid Alcohol Ballpoint Ink Olive Oil Bluing Gasoline Unaffected: No color or appreciable surface texture change Superficial: Mild abrasive, such as common cleanser, easily removes stains *ANSI/KCMA A161.1, Used in fire extinguishers and as a dry cleaning fluid. Three gloss levels let your cabinets shine on or not Canyon Creek offers three sheen levels for topcoats. Since the properties and application of all three are identical, there is no difference in how well each will perform in your home. Standard gloss has our highest level of light reflectivity, at around 35%. Standard gloss is available in all five product lines. Every Wood Cabinet Comes With a Smooth, Durable Finish A factory finish offers the best in crafstmanship and longevity. The process starts with select grades of wood and ends in our temperature and humidity-controlled finishing area, where a total of three sealer coats are applied to each cabinet part. Our extremely durable coatings are of the highest quality and the most environmentally advanced of any product used in wood finishing. After all, our customers demand a high quality finish on every Canyon Creek cabinet. Our multi-step process at a glance: Sand Stain Cure Burnish Seal Cure Sand Seal Sand Topcoat Cure and cure again for a top-of-the-line finish! Matte gloss is a mid-range sheen, at or near 15% reflectivity. Matte gloss is offered in Cornerstone, Millennia and Katana. Lo-Luster is a nearly flat gloss, with just 5% reflectivity. Lo-Luster is offered in Cornerstone, Millennia and Katana. A No Added Formaldehyde (NAF) option is also available, for all three gloss levels on stained wood products.
