Effective in nitrocellulose coatings also. CH CH G 5 gal Acetone NWSACETONE-5G 5 (541) (800) Fax Gallon Acetone Acetone is the strongest and fastest evaporating solvent around. Acetone will easily remove sticky residue on glass and porcelain left by stickers and labels, and will clean lacquer tools well. As acetone is highly volatile, it will not work as a thinner for most oil paints and coatings. Mixing with water dilutes strength and slows evaporation rate. Acetone is used in auto body shops and boatyards, for auto body repair, fiberglass hull repair and other epoxy or fiberglass projects. Note: Too strong for use as a coating solvent. It will attack plastics, synthetic fabrics etc. Is non-photochemically reactive. Acetone is a colorless liquid with a mildly pungent odor. Cannot be shipped UPS or US Mail. Laquer Thinner NWSHI-5G 5 Gallon Laquer Thinner When selecting a thinner for use with your paint or varnish project, be aware that different lacquer thinners have different proportions of acetone. Use the minimum amount of thinner by gradually adding to the lacquer. You know you ve added enough when the paint flows freely. If too much thinner is added, the paint will run and drip and otherwise ruin your chances for the desired smooth, high gloss finish lacquer is known for. Other uses for the lacquer thinner include cleaning and flushing paint spraying equipment. Great also for cleaning painting tools like brushes, sprayers, rollers, and applicators. Each of the nine colors can blend with each other to create endless array of colors. Includes You will receive two sets of 282 wood veneer chips, one in red oak and one in maple. The chips are displayed in a wooden box and labeled with a color number that references the formula. You will also receive easy to follow instruction, helpful hints and tips for each formula. The MiniMix 150 features a modular design that accommodates 16 cans and be scaled to meet your needs. It has a special lid that is agitating on a continuous bases.
